I was actually excited to see Graterol back on the mound to see if we could close out the Phillies during the second half of the game but then that all washed away really quick
Phillies batters need to develop more patience at bat. They swing at every pitch. Don’t get an opportunity to enjoy the bat. The pitcher can walk a batter on four straight balls, and the next batter swings at the first pitch. They need to stop bailing the pitcher out thinking the next pitch is going to be a strike and they’re going to hit a home run!
There were some bad swings in this game.
Please let this be the start of the Phillies coming back

I’m in LA visiting my GFs family, and I went to this game, it was my 1st game at any stadium outside of Philly, Dodgers fans are amazing, I had an absolute blast. Much love from a Philly native, your fans are passionate and you love to see that stuff. Best luck to you guys in the future.

As I have written before, Roberts' use of players has left me scratching my head.
He left Lux and Hayward, who were doing well, out of yesterday's starting line-up, continued to use Will Smith, who was hitting poorly, and used Barnes instead. (He should be used as a starter, not a substitute).
Neither Lux nor Heyward will get a single chance tonight. Instead, both the relievers and the batting line-up (which has been performing well) will be out of rhythm.
It was a disappointing game, as Kershaw pitched well. Good luck Dodgers!
I'm pretty sure Barnes is Kersh's preferred catcher which is probably why
I m frustrated too as a Dodger fan but hey we r aiming for a championship. So many injured players and less resources to work with makes the managing job ever so harder, but hey other than poor Graterol, the calvary is coming!! Betts, Muncy, Yamamoto later on, Miggy and co. Let's wait and see.

Phillies should start to think about playing Edmundo Sosa over Stott. They really should start thinking about that one
I’ve been saying
At least make it a Leftie/Righty platoon! In 2022, when Stott batted like .230, local "experts" said he was a future batting title contender because he had long at-bats in the DS. I never got it! He's never had an OPS that's above league average!
He is a good fielder though (other than that overthrow in the Yankees or maybe Mariners series).

My Dodgers lost 6 to 2 the Phillies Out play us last night and the Phillies were the batter team.
It's crazy how pitchers go only like 5 or 6 innings now a days.

The current Dodgers don't have a decisive closer. They should have acquired Estévez at all costs. That way, they could have formed a hotline with Ohtani and Estévez next year.
