@@jakesevere9165, yeah, you're right, I got that outs thing wrong. I'm the guy who "liked" your post. Controversial take: But that rule technically was correct with how Wendlestadt viewed that "obstruction". If you're going to review the slide rule or even the home plate tag, what's wrong with reviewing the obstruction rule on the other bases. This rule is like the NFL's version of roughing the passer or the "catch" rule before it was modified after 2017. Having said that, LA's pitching just fell apart. The obstruction call was actually terrible
Kyle schwarber OWNS the nl west
The dodgers' problem is that they are too laid back most of the time, it is hard for them to fight fiercely when real pressure comes. Life was too easy for them
Schwaber is the only player I wish the cubs hadn’t gotten rid of!
I am a dodgers fan but their pitching has been sucking bad!
I love Kyle Schwarber
Let’s see what happens when Mookie gets rolling again. Can’t rely on Ohtani to produce in the clutch. Dude hitting .240 with RISP. Mookie is their guy!
Sharwber is on fire again now Bryce needs to get back in rhythm and they will be hard to beat. That call was so bogus tho...
lets go phils
Going to a game next tuesday. Let's go Philly!
Bad call by ump but Phillies slaughtered the Dodgers again anyway.
Schwarber with 3 bombs
I was there. Extremely disappointing. They should've walked Schwarber during his last at bat. Schwarber owns the Dodgers.
Said the same thing too man the game was ruled with bad calling and managing
The Dodgers have a special talent for turning into the Phillies' personal punching bag.
This team doesn’t need a pep talk - they need to shape up and meditate.
Roberts needs to go.
Wish the ump would have thrown Roberts off the Dodgers ,Lol.
Don't understand he isn't not out at 3rd base ?
The third-base umpire made the call that Miguel Rojas had been obstructing the base path. Unfortunately, all he was doing was attempting to make a good play, and the ump simply got it wrong.
Yeah I don’t really understand that call. The commentators made it more confusing.
yeah, he is not not out...just like u said...
@@JonathanAufderheide-ln8pryou be saying this every comment and its wrong 😂
6:08 The fielder stepped into the base-path before he had a play on the ball.
He is supposed to set up for the throw behind the base in order to prevent a collision.
When a collision occurred he was deemed liable.
There were some fun flirtations with greatness, but 3-7 vs Padres, 1-5 vs Phillies... Dodgers are officially done this season
Este equipo de los Dodgers está eliminado. Muy mal dirigido, con un mal picheo y la ofensiva no responde. Será hasta cuándo Roberts se vaya, si es que algún día se va.
Fun fact: The Los Angeles Dodgers were 14-5 against the San Diego Padres in 2022, and lost the NLDS to them in four games. So maybe this year it’ll be the other way around.
Shohei doing his best to lose a triple crown
Dodgers bull pen is just atrocious
요즘 다저스는 나사 빠진 것 같은 플레이만 하는군.
Sort of like a Boeing airplane?
Let's go Red Phillies!
A peek into the postseason here. Dodgers will perform the same way they always do.
With their decimated and lack of pitching, they might not even make the playoffs. Their best shot going to the playoffs is to win their division, otherwise, San Diego may win and other teams could pass LA with better records.
@@dusty4835 This is all true
I'm a diehard Padres fan and am upset over that interference call. What a complete joke if a call. The Dodgers did not deserve that...
Remember THAT is the #26 Chase Utley rule.
Schwarber owns the dodger bulpen
Is Harper ok?
That's a Bs call he is just doing his job ❤😮
Dodgers blow they lose every year. Go Phillies!
LA Dodgers are the most over rated team in MLB
You must not follow them very closely. They recently had 10 of their 26 players on the Injured List and are just now getting healthy again. Just wait until October and then you can judge...
Are we sure it’s not June
Everything was going well, until the Dodgers were robbed.
It's outrageous.
As a Phillies fan, Bohm was out
as another Phillie fan , Yep
Umpire massed up this game.
Umpire is the reason they blew a 4-1 lead in six innings?
@@jakesevere9165, well, maybe.
If the correct call was made it would have been two outs. And maybe Schwarber doesn't get to the plate with runners on that inning and has to hit the following inning and who knows what he would have done then.
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder that's just not even true lmao. if bohm was called out, it would have been one out with marsh on first. despite that, the pitcher could've struck the next batter out, popped him up, walked him leading to a force at any base, executed a double play, the third baseman could've played the grounder better and thrown bohm out at home, etc. The point is there's endless possibilities of what could have happened, but what did happen didn't affect the score of the game or the dodgers' ability to make defensive plays. also that didn't force the dodgers to give up three runs up to that point.
@@jakesevere9165, yeah, you're right, I got that outs thing wrong. I'm the guy who "liked" your post.
But in my defense, where it could have made a difference is how pitches got thrown in a one-out situation. Baseball is full of these intrinsic variables that change depending on small things like outs.
It's actually an unknowable situation, really. Because even if the Dodgers get out of that jam, they could have still blown it with that shaky bullpen.
But hey, you guys made a bunch of great defensive plays as well, and a couple of bad, or tough ones, rather, which led to our early runs as well.
Nevertheless, hey, good game, congratulations on winning this series and the season series.
I hope both of our teams are full and healthy for October, so we can do this again, FULL STRENGTH on BOTH sides.
Cheers brother! 🍻
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder all great points 🙌🏻 this would be an extremely entertaining potential world series matchup so fingers crossed for both teams the rest of the year!
Why can’t they challenge that call???
I’m not even a Dodgers fan but that play at 3B was total BS
Don't matter, Schwarber still gonna beat the Dodgers
@@RicFlair-yn1mm, did matter, though.
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder nope, outcome woulda been the same. Scwarbombs was too much for the Dodgers
@@RicFlair-yn1mm, he wouldn't have had a chance to come to the plate that inning if the correct call was made, because there would have been two outs, and the next batter hit that dribbler towards third base and that play ended with an out!
THREE OUTS, NO MORE BATTERS, you LOSE this debate.
@@Silence_Duder_Gooder so you're saying if that one play was called correctly, the Dodgers woulda won 😂🤣😅
Per the rules… that interference call was literally called exactly right.
Prime example was Schwarber's 2nd bomb. You had first base open, why not IBB him and pitch to Trea Turner.
And even when Mookie Betts and Max Muncy return, that's not going to save their woeful pitching.
Bullpen fell apart for the Dodgers but that was a terrible call by Wendelstedt at third. He's usually a pretty good ump but another one that's been around forever and needs to retire
PHI and NYY are always dodgers' Daddy.😂😂😂
I love it when a LA team eats 💩😂
The Dodgers' bullpen has dashed our hopes of winning like no one else can
dodgers are gonna need to figure out real fast how to deal with this power-house phillies ball club...may very well face-off again in post-season
