I’m so sorry my voice sounds like this!! We shot several videos because I flew into Los Angeles for the video shoot, so be prepared for another month of my voice being hoarse. 😝
100% there are dangerous areas to inject. My favorite derm, Dr. Shereen Idriss, also says that you shouldn't get injected at a medi-spas or by someone who isn't board certified. She has had to fix multiple injuries that people have sustained at those places.
Yes! I found out as an adult that I had become allergic to neosporin and had the itchiest rash that I had to see a doctor for. And now I get to tell every doctor that I do have a neosporin allergy!
I would never be barefoot in a hotel. That grosses me out so much as it is. 🥴 But the nail and cuticle ordeal was definitely news to me. I do my own nails all the time. Guess I need to tweak how I do them. Neosporin and hydro??? Okay my mind is blown. 😳😂
Shaina Ann: What everyone thinks is the cuticle is actually called the "proximal nail fold". The cuticle is the adhesive that adheres the proximal nail fold and the nail plate together to protect and seal that area from bacteria entering the body. Both are essential and there for a reason. The proximal nail fold is living tissue. When you push it back, you are creating trauma to it and it has to heal. Don't push it back. Keep it moisturized so you don't have dead flaking skin and hangnails. No pain, no wasted time or money. Look up "What’s New in Nail Anatomy? The Latest Facts!" By Doug Schoon / April 15, 2019
i’m having trouble understanding how getting a liquid rhinoplasty is MORE dangerous than actual invasive rhinoplasty? definitely get that that’s a dangerous area, but how is cutting into that area less likely to damage the blood vessels than a small puncture for an injection?
Thank you so much for doing this video. Valuable information. Hope your voice gets better soon 🙏🏽. So glad to hear about the cuticles. It’s always been irritating to me, and always refuse it. Amén about barefoot in a hotel room. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I used to use Neosporin ALL of the time growing up…well that and hydrogen peroxide. I didn’t know I had developed an allergy to the antibiotic in Neosporin until I was post op from laparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery. Two days post op I developed the worse hives around my incisions which then blistered. The initial incisions were tiny, but I ended up with large scars because I used Neosporin too much in my younger years. As soon as I found out why I was blistering, I went straight home and threw away all of the antibiotic wound ointment and banded my husband from ever buying any. 😢

I just moved to Oregon from being in Maui for 11 years. There’s aren’t tanning beds there and I was SHOCKED to see tanning beds everywhere. I had assumed they were banned
I live in Oregon too and we have many things that are questionable. 😅 The most strip clubs per capita of any other state bothers me more but yes, the tanning places are everywhere and so outdated. I’m surprised they’re still in business. A friend said they can help with mood, like a giant light box for depression but I’d never try it though I live with MDD.
I agree with the cuticles! I pushed my cuticles back once and ended up giving myself an infection and lost my fingernail! I prefer to leave them or use a chemical cuticle remover.
oh so with a chemical cuticule remover the fingers/nails are not exposed to bacterias entering? i didn't know about this and i do my own manucure at home i'm so used to cut my cuticules all the time i'm lucky i never got infected!

Carmen Freeman, hydrogen peroxide is NOT for use on the human body for wounds despite how it has been normalized in the past. It kills good bacteria. All you need is water to rinse a wound.
As a teenager and in my early and mid 20's I was a major sun worshiper. And hardly even put on sunscreen. Now 20 something years later I rarely go out in the sun except for when going on a run or running earrands. And I wear sunscreen religiously. Even when I'm just hanging out in my house. And I'll reapply every two hours until the sun goes down. I see a big difference with my skin.
Yeah there's really no need to reapply every two hours when you are just sitting indoors all day. It's really overkill and just not necessary....but you do you 🤷♀️
Omg I live for neosporin 😂😂😂, I’ve been using it for YEARS for cuts and anti scarring. So if we aren’t allergic and know we aren’t, can we still use it lol?
Try plain Vaseline, they've been compared head to head in a study. Vaseline was just as good but without the risk of allergic reaction. (It's the petrolatum in Neosporin that's doing most of the work! The antibiotic in it is super weak.)
Omg I seriously wanted to pause the video (but so much good info) or if I could stop you from talking as you were straining your voice!! Please dont strain yourself with more videos talking, Rest well and take care Susan!!
I already watched this few days ago, but I clicked again as I saw Susan. Then I quickly realized that I already watched this, thanks to your sexy voice, Susan 😄. Not every video we can hear this

I've never heard of neosporin nor using Hydrogen peroxide on a wound. Glad I haven't.

Omg Susan! I hope you're feeling better and that your voice will come back soon!

You look so good Susan in the pink top!!!! ✨ Just radiant 😊

This triangle of death thing is super scary. What if you have a moustache that you like to get waxed?? (asking for a friend obviously, ;-))

So interesting. I learned a lot. I hope you are feeling better now.
I'm from SA close to the ocean northern suburbs what's the best sunscreen for over 60 skin pls
early haha. also keep up the amazing work!💚❤
Wonderful message
So interesting, didnt know a lot of this!
Hydrogen peroxide is great as initial cleaner. Don’t continue but it will clean well

Are we going to get a Celluma update? That led device you used.
I don't think that the 2 last ones are common in Sweden at all.
🥰🥰🥰🎉❤️❤️ have not watch it yet but already liked the video 😜😜
take care of yourself!
Would lip fillers/injections into the top lip be considered a danger zone in this triangle of death?!
Thank you for sharing! Team hotel slippers / slippers in public places all the way 😁
currently sitting in my hotel room realizing I forgot my slippers 🙃🙃
I have gotten nose filler. Who ever does nose fillers needs to know what they’re doing. How scary

Use suncreen like Evy instead. It's tested and give protection for 6 hours. Applying every 2 hours indoors... omg

I have heard you should not cut your cuticles, but I have never heard you shouldn’t push them back. How are you supposed to do a mani then?! 😂
You could use a liquid cuticle remover instead

Looking very Miami chica!
