@@NorthernRidesYaBoi The steel is being fabricated and installed to the original specifications in the UK and not by S&S. Just to make obvious yes there is love for Arrow but BPB and its contractors are handling the retrack.
Vonn Thiessen yeah, good point. I think it would be fine though. Twisted colossus has those and that ride throws people all over the place literally in every direction and with force. Works really well, the pockets fit everything in two peoples pockets yet they are pulled taught by the bolts they are connected with, so that nothing can really bang around in there.
I know everybody here has mixed views on their coasters but the fact that almost 20 years later they're still supplying parts for Arrow is phenomenal. What a great company.
Hope you do a Steeplechase video were you able to get on that I hope so also the best part of this video is the gentleman saying they still manufacture Arrow parts that's good news for the Loch Ness Monster here's to another 41 more years🍻
I agree, it brings good news to fans of Arrow! I did not really get the chance to talk to them on camera about Steeplechase, so unfortunately there will not be any new videos about it.
Wow, I had no idea that S&S acquired Arrow. Imagine if they started building 4th dimensional coasters again like X2 and Eejainaika. That’d be a dream come true
Shao Dynasty I knew S&S built it, I’m just saying it would be sweet if they started to build them again, although the chances of that are very unlikely. I’d love to see more of them
S&S also improved the 4D coaster trains as Arrows had been built way to clunky and heavy. I spoke to Stan Checketts about the redesigned trains back in 2007 when they were working on them.
I would love so much to know how on earth s&s air launches work, as far as how the cable is managed and how it connects to the air cylinder, slug, whatever it is. And also how on earth they keep seals and contained pressure with seals for the parts that move in and out of the air cylinders.
I was thinking lately how medium to large ride manufacturers must do really well because of all the spare parts continually needed. After say five years of successful rides I would think parts departments would be a tremendous cash cow for them.
Avacado Spread could be anywhere I’m thinking it could be knotts because it’s supposed to be getting something in 2021 and knotts is an experimental park for cedar fair so they would probably want to put a new thing there and see how it does.
Salt Shaker I think Knott’s could get one but they are the most visited park in the chain, making the most likely 12 car train (even with blocks) have a bad capacity. A better fit would be a new intimin. I would think something like pantheon but with no launch and more compact. But that’s a stretch
Avacado Spread yeah we will see. Could get a raptor. From what I’m hearing fiesta village is what’s gonna get revamped not ghost town. I think that it’s gonna be rmc or s&s because no single coaster in the park is manufactured by the same person so depending on if that streak is gonna be kept up is what we will be seeing. And yes I’m aware supreme scream is s&s
I literally moved to Logan this year for school (Aggies where you at) and had NO CLUE they were based out of Logan. I’m dragging my roommates here for sure
They have multiple coasters up in Japan, including a free spin, a 4D full-size coaster, and the 2nd compressed launch build. If your coming from Europe though yeah, being in america I'm glad this manufacturer has gathered traction and it took RMC a bit to start building elsewhere so hopefully with there vekoma connection now they can get more stuff built in other countries besides USA, china, and japan.
Steeplechase? They’ve been testing that out for a while. They weren’t running any tests on it while we were there, but the new steeplchase’s are available options for any park looking to buy one!
I absolutely love that they're still supplying parts for all the old Arrow coasters.
As a matter of fact, they're currently re-tracking Big One in Blackpool Pleasure Beach

It’s so great to see S&S thriving. Congrats to them on the golden ticket for Steel Curtain.

Omg ur right. XD
Saw that too. Haha. I wish all rides would have zipper pockets for pocket items. Would save a lot of time for loading on rides with bins on the sides.
Gavin Boothe yeah but the pockets would have to be really tight so the fun doesn’t crack from being jostled around
I had to go into slow motion to find it.

Imagine a Steeplechase coaster with a compressed air launch system

Lol
I love this company... so many restructurings, they really have been working on their creativity... hopefully we see a lot more of them.
Love this video. A whole new insight to S&S.

Who else got the notification? P.S. Taylor, if you are in Virginia, hopefully you got to see the snow!

In Richmond and the surrounding area. It is gone now.... stopped at like 2

Wow, I had no idea that S&S acquired Arrow. Imagine if they started building 4th dimensional coasters again like X2 and Eejainaika. That’d be a dream come true
They did build Eejainaika. Arrow was bankrupt after x2 was built so S & S acquired arrow and then built Eejainaika a few years later
Shao Dynasty I knew S&S built it, I’m just saying it would be sweet if they started to build them again, although the chances of that are very unlikely. I’d love to see more of them
They built Dinoconda in 2012, so they probably still offer the ride to parks who are willing to pay the very high price tag
S&S also improved the 4D coaster trains as Arrows had been built way to clunky and heavy. I spoke to Stan Checketts about the redesigned trains back in 2007 when they were working on them.
Great tour and footage! 👍🏼
Happy early birthday Taylor
This S&S free fly coaster car, looks like something that would fit perfectly in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. 0:12 👍
First it looked like a ski lift gondola for me...🤦🏻♂️
Awe hell yeah! Being in a tie fighter or x wing type ride.
@@GMoney-B How about a Tatonnie Land Cruiser or Pod Racer type coaster.
David Vitrano yeees. All of the above. 😄
I wonder if they’ll ever build a new Arrow Suspended Coaster. I mean, people loved those and these people have all the drawings from Arrow
this new model is basically an arrow suspended coaster with inversions
Balthazar Brat but the suspended coaster’s prototype DID have an inversion. At least I think it did
@@benwetzel8449 I'm pretty sure a prototype was never built that way but the original thought process by Arrow was to try and make a ride that way.
Gavin Hatfield there’s photos of the prototype. I’ll try to find it

I’d like to see a longer 4D Freespin model one of these days! Perhaps with four tiers.
So cool to have them here in utah! had no idea.

i don't know, but i'd guess they work like other pneumatic (and probably also hydraulic) cylinders, so you could look those up
