I was following the construction on this and Genting Park’s coasters before it felt like they were both completely dead concepts. Glad this one panned out.
From what I understand, Aliens want to steal a Ferrari. But the Aliens aren't in Ferrari's good boy list, so they can't steal a new one. They have to steal some like old California first.
What was the storyline? Why are we making a car then being attacked by some weird green booger people? Then Dynamic Attractions has all the gags for this coaster and they are just there. Well, it will be the only one.
It’s always funny how Ferrari really wants to completely Dominate F1s brand image to the point where they depict themselves as the only racing company and build entire theme parks dedicated around them. Imagine if B tier F1 teams like Alpine or Williams made acted like that and built their own mission Ferrari roller coasters lol
It feels like they were trying to achieve a classic Disneyland attraction with the concept theming of Universal but ended up with it feeling like a design by Boeing
Times the announcer says "Well done agents!": - You escape from the bad guys for like 2 seconds after they appear to blow up their own helicopter by very slowly driving an inch backwards and avoiding the heatseeking missile (?) - You end up somehow surving after being dropped off the side of a dam (???) after the baddies blow up their own helicopters again - You watch another helicopter blow itself up with its own missiles (seriously they need to sort their military tech out!) and get caught in the shockwave without even trying to move to avoid it - You exit the ride and get into your car to leave the park - You go home and open a particularly stubborn jar of pickles - You successfully inhale and exhale I must say she's very easily impressed! Why did they repeat that exact same voice line so many times? Did they run out of budget for the voice acting?
It's different, but I don't believe I'd care to ride it a second time if at all. The theme is a bit boring and gimmicky for my taste. Thank for showing it though as I doubt, I'll be flying to Abu Dhabi to ride it.
It looks like a pretty fun ride, but I don't understand what the story is supposed to be. It just looks like a weird neon helicopter shooting laser lights at you.
This is perfect! Shows the effects, no cuts, and no music! Too bad that though this is the first SFX Coaster, it may very well also be the last considering the Genting one was partially built but both the park and Dynamic act as if it's not even there.
There sure is a whole lot of "dead air" on that ride.
1:55 I love how you can see the enemy helicopters idling on the screen before it actually triggers the animation
Feels more like a mediocre themed dark ride than a rollercoaster
Thanks for the different angles for this coaster! The other povs really dont capture whats going on fully.
That’s crazy… a coaster dark ride hybrid with a backwards vertical loop?? Unlike any other coaster I’ve seen. I love this

One of the most unique/impressive themed coasters to ever exist!
I love how it has that 1 outdoor section of the building its in and then the rest of the ride is indoors.
The drop track part is like a reverse tilt coaster in the dark, so cool and unexpected!
Also the loop in the dark
such a cool ride, hoping it sticks around and they can fix the issues with it.
The parent company Dynamic Structures is still around - they'll probably still service this and their 2 coasters in disneyland for a while
What issues?
This POV from Coastin' In The Desert has been brought to you by Sand. It's everywhere. Get used to it.
See, no one quotes Aladdin 3 enough these days... Great work!
I still have no clue what this ride is supposed to be themed to 🤣

@@Deadspherethat still makes no sense 😂
@@ATLSloan The first half is actually correct, the second half is the actual process you have to go through to buy a new Ferrari.
@@Deadsphere Aliens with helicopters? 😅
Jup, basically@@shroomyesc

What a ride!
Looks crazy ngl

I believe there's another one in Malaysia so one of 2 and the only one finished

Yipee new video

Genting mention
So when does it actually coaster?
interesting concept but garbage CG scenes ruin it
it looks fun but the sfx seem a little tacky for that to be its main selling point especially the screens but maybe they look better in person
That was the worst pacing on any ride I've ever seen.
What do you mean? It’s supposed to have dark ride moments
Aint no way you said slow pacing on a coaster thats designed and modified to be essentially a dark ride.
I thought this was Ferrari themed
The ending is anticlimactic. A yawner
Utter Crap!
