@@bigmugga2525 no you're both wrong. It's about him being in a toxic relationship and wanting to be out of it. He wants to say goodbye but he can't. When he does he just follows her again. Example- when you say goodbye to your friend at school but you both walk in the same direction, so its awkward. And he wants to be away from her and with her at the same time. (This is explained during young thugs solo). As you can see the blond girl in the beginning is his gf, but in the bar she hooks up with the guy who killed him. Then trys to hook back up with malone. So that's how its toxic.

Post’s character loved the girl and the guy that shanked him loved the girl, so they fought over her. The girl didn’t expect the other guy to win so when Post got stabbed it sent her to grief, but she followed the deal that she would get with whomever won the fight. Since Post died he never got to say goodbye to the girl hence him coming back to life to say goodbye, because he isn’t good st goodbyes

ik u made this like a yr ago but since everyone's offering their explanations:
this music video definitely has a West Side Story vibe, two rival gangs in the 50s. The guy in the white tank at the beginning (we hear the blonde girl call him Donny) seems to be the girl's boyfriend and possibly be the leader of one gang. Post is going against him; he could be part of a rival gang (Zombies, like it says on his jacket), or just an outsider. After Post has been stabbed (maybe Donny's revenge for Post having feelings for Donny's girl) the blonde girl's clearly concerned about him. She's with the leader of the rival gang, but she had feelings for Post, and he had feelings for her.
Now the song itself says "We're both actin' insane, but too stubborn to change," so I definitely feel like the song on its own is about a relationship that both people know isn't good for them, but they're "no good at goodbyes" aka they can't let go of each other, maybe a toxic situation. I'm sure you could also interpret it as anything in your life that has an unhealthy hold on you.
But in the video, they definitely created something much more romantic: Post is killed-again, maybe as punishment for loving Donny's girl-but Post is too stubborn and in love to stay dead and say goodbye to the girl. He comes back as a zombie to reunite with her. So it's a bit more of a happy ending!
