  • Ingredients:
    2 cups flour
    1tbsp baking powder
    Pinch of salt
    2tbsp sugar
    1/2 tsp nut meg
    2tbsp margarine
    1 egg beaten
    9tbsp water
    5 hard boiled eggs
    Cooking instructions:
    Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and nutmeg in a bowl. Add the margarine & mix it well till it is crumbly in texture. Add the beaten egg to it & add water a little at a time, mix it till it forms a dough. Work the dough for about 2mins then leave it to rest for 15mins. Cook your eggs while your dough is resting. Transfer the rested dough onto your working surface & work it for another 1 minute & divide it into small balls.
    Flatten the balls with a rolling pin, drop the egg in the middle & gently & tightly wrap the dough around each egg, ensure the egg is well wrapped & remove excess dough.
    Fry on medium heat until it is golden brown then serve.
