Y’all definitely put the mower’s to work today. Not bad for your first cut. Your property will be so awesome in a couple of years. Can’t wait to see your family’s dreams come true. Stay safe, healthy, happy, productive,& blessed.💯👍🏾😀🫶🏾💜✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
I’d Harley rake it, irrigation, and then hydroseed it. Then you have the equipment to aerate and overseed it a few times and thicken it up. I don’t know exactly how much sod costs but I’m sure it’s more than doing that haha
Do the bluegrass. So worth it. When we built our house 13 years ago I knew I wanted bluegrass. It took me quite some years to get it right. But man, now it looks beautiful and the stripes I can put down has the neighbors jealous 😄. They all said they wish they would have went bluegrass even though it’s so much more work.
I would just fill in the holes for now with some nice screened loam once construction is completed up top then you can Harley rake everything and it will blend together much better
I think irrigation would be the first priority. I hope you do that yourself or shoot a video on it. I transitioned from regular mowing to irrigation and love it so much more.
Brian, if you want, I can help you out with the seed. Sod is good, but natural seed+ top soil is the way to go the best long term.. You looked at my yard. Kbg and rye grass mix with tttf is the best.
Hey man I keep on hearing that echo is coming out with a new echo pb 9050 backpack blower with more powerful backpack that is coming out during the fall of this year
Hey, I have a Bradley stand on, lol. It's commercially built but only has 25 HP. I like it so far for a lower end stand on. I doubt there is a cheaper model. That Ex-Mark though!!!!
Just built a house on 3 acres. Don’t put Bluegrass down after just building. The grading will settle and you’ll still end up with uneven ground. Do your best to throw annual down first to control runoff and spend the summer managing water runoff and settling of the dirt to let everything compress. Come behind it afterwards and till and plug the annual in the fall and prep for irrigation after everything is settled. You’ll be happy you did. I’m in the leveling phase right now myself. Storm water runoff nuked my yard after the house was completed and the builder gave me a middle finger after signing.
I’m not sure yet, but we need to figure it out soon. Probably the Advance Chute or new Ballard Chute Blocker. Gotta support what we use and use what we support 😎
nice mowers!!! I am ethier thinking about trading in my 2007 hustler 48 fastrak with 19 horse kawaski fh580v for a new scag or used scag on marketplace the deck sizes I am thinking about are 48,52 and 54 inch. my mowers are in storage is it a good time to get them out because I am unsure? I don't know when the last snowstorm of the year will come through?
Awesome mowers. I'd love to try one. Heard those tires hold a hill better. I'd just come off my drive way put a load of cheap shale down have a skidsteer make you a pad for the truck to park to pump your tank. I worked 2 and 3 jobs my whole life.. I took time this year to see the eclipse in totality. It was well worth it and was amazing awhole different experience seeing it get completely dark out side.
I love the red wrights stander mowers 😆 🤣
Clever ;)

Amen Glenda!
We started mowing on March 19th here in Cincinnati, at least the lawns that needed it. Been fighting the rain ever since!
Yep. Same here in Louisville

I would 100% agree being it’s such a large area.
Brian "Any-Which-Way" Fullerton. Love ya brother. I can't wait to see how you put these bad boys to work this season.

Amen to that brother!
Kind of regret not mowing this week but going to hit some of my high growth lots Saturday and then start officially on the 15th
Those are some absolute MONSTER mowers bro!!! Congrats man!

That will definitely be something we do here soon!
Those things look SWEET!!!
Even on your rutted up bumpy lawn, the new mowers seem to stripe pretty good. Can’t wait to see what they will do on more established turf!
Amen to that!
Great job Brian.

Yep that's what we'll be doing my friend
No clue Zach

Yeah I do plan to follow this to a degree, well said.
With the ruts in the lawn that you showed, I would just get a pitch fork, loosen it up, and then get a tamper around. It
Are the platforms on the vertex x series not adjustable? For different weights? If not, than that's a deal breaker as a light person
I am not sure on that!
How many hours do you figure you get on the Tractus tires?
We have 4 years on our 2020, 2,400 hours, tread still at 75%, wild!
@@BriansLawnMaintenance Wow that is quite impressive. I have 2400 hours on a set of regular tires and they are pretty much racing slicks.
What discharge chute are you planning to run on them?
I’m not sure yet, but we need to figure it out soon. Probably the Advance Chute or new Ballard Chute Blocker. Gotta support what we use and use what we support 😎
@@BriansLawnMaintenance cool, just curious. I put the advanced chute on mine, but the handle seems so far away. Maybe I have trex arms though 🤷🏻♂️😂
Any idea how much it costs to have irrigation installed on a front yard that size. I’m looking at a home that has a similar front yard
I don't honestly, but I can only imagine. lol
Congrats man….
I would fill the holes in for now then maybe in fall tear it up and put sod down or wait until spring.
Have you ever tried a wright zk?
Oh ya! Beautiful machines.
Exmark and shindaiwa the best two products and brands u can use to do your yards/properties with ever in the world
Fill those holes with small bills and tamp til level

Sand it and level it and seed everything
So tractus or the tweels
Tractus is Exmark, Tweels is everyone else.
We just did our first cuts today with the company I landscape for
Man that’s awesome! What region?
@@BriansLawnMaintenance I am in Pennsylvania

That’s awesome brother, sometimes it’s the little things!
Keep it up brian! LAL this year should probably have your new mentor 😉
Side question - Dump Insert worth the money ?
10000% worth it!
Brian, if you really want to save some money for now just roll your lawn after the next good rain. Cheers!
Hydro seed???
Not a bad idea.
Its such a big area my be less expensive to hydro seed and might not have to do irrigation?
Would just seed it with Kentucky blue grass seed
Hey, how come I hadn’t seen Foreman Rob in the videos recently?
I mean, we really haven’t had that much working videos just yet. But he’s been holding it down per usual!
That looks like a ruff yard.
We just built a house not too long ago, it killed me to have a rough yard lol.
Rough is an understatement lol
Ask dirtmonkey and see what he tells you
