    I love how this project is a real DIY. No crazy tools or anything, but the end result is great!
    Btw, how thick is the copper wire you're using? And are you using insulated copper wire?

    How much wire did you need to purchase to make the coils? Just wondering if that one spool was enough? Thanks!

    Can you teach me the formula for the number of turns?
    Relationship between voltage, power generation, rotors rotation speed and number of turns of coil.
    Thank you very much.

    when winding the coil between each layer do keep winding from where you left off or do you cross over to the side you started winding from?

    • @RandomHacks
      @RandomHacks  7 лет назад +1

      Just keep winding, if you cross you will end up with a gigantic and ugly coil :)

    What increases or decreases in using more or less coils per phase, 5 or 3 etc ? is it watt? or volts?

    • @jamest.5001
      @jamest.5001 6 лет назад +2

      Frec Menta watts is just the total power. of the volts plus amps. if either volts or amps go up. the watts go up. adding turns per coil. raises volts. the thickness of the wire determines amps. the same with more phases. since when rectified the amps are added together. surely you knew most of this.

    a query, i see you put in another video mentioning hugh piggott, which mentions that for 24v voltages, you use two wire in one winding, but i see that you use only one of 70 turns, and you can get more than 1kw, while piggott with two wires in parallel that only 800w, has your work worked for you? as for reference :)

    • @RandomHacks
      @RandomHacks  3 года назад

      I'm not using Hugh Piggot's stator design, I believe he doesn't use 9 coils. The stator design I use has been proven many times to produce about 1kw with the correct blades.

      videos of how I could not see your videos before, I was based on piggott, with a 14 'rotor, 70 turns with two wires, 9 coils and it would give 800w, because yours produces more and with half the copper wire and the metal disc, thank you

      Do you think you can only fit a single 14 # thread and 70 turns to a 14 'rotor? Well, I already have the rotor ready :(, do you think it works?

    Your Neodymium magnet is 1inch x 2 inch, your coil is awg 14 = 1.628 mm, coil center hole equal magnet size, 70turn, SO if in your country electric power is 60hz frequency, my count result is not 1.5kw, with that 9coil you only get 134.4Volt & safety at 10ampere = 1.344watt, NOT 1.5kw, you need 14.93 coil for result 219,968volt OR 15 coil (each 70turn) for result 224volt

    • @RandomHacks
      @RandomHacks  5 лет назад +2

      Hi, yes I might have overestimated the power but I don't understand your calculations. I have 3 phases. I believe 14AWG solid core wire can handle up to 25A so times 3 would be 75A max. Of course I won't get anywhere near this amperage. The generator will produce about 24 to 30v AC dwhich will then be rectified to DC and only then I will use a grid tie inverter to inject it to the grid, I can also connect it in star or delta configuration. Thanks for your comment.
