The Wigan Flight and Leigh

At last, the flight re-opens after nearly eight weeks unscheduled maintenance and we descend the 23 locks after speculation that Lock 73 won't hold out much longer!
Can we make it?

Nice video, glad you sped up the Wigan flight and didn't show all the locks in real time. Pity about all the lock closures but that's winter on the canals.

Yes we tend to make loose winter cruising plans around stoppages that often overrun.
But fortunately time is usually not a restraint for us.
