- In today's Stamp and Chat Premiere, I showed you how to use heat embossing with your layered stencils. This technique adds just the right amount of shine to step up your layering stencils with ease. I did this card in two different colors and I would LOVE to know which one is your favorite in the comments! Tom and I had so much fun chatting with you today! Thank you for joining us.

Do you know why I love your video’s. Tom and you show how much you love and respect each other. I love your ideas, art work, designs and having theses lives. I love the word of the day. I also love the way, Gina, how real you are, and your laugh. It gives me ideas on how to start. Thank-you
Tom cracks me up in this episode....he had one job, which he even explained at the beginning, but still needed prompting! You two are very sweet!
Beautiful cards and great technique. Turquoise one is my favourite. 👏😊💕
Both. I think this is going to be one of my card designs this year
Fun to watch, I love embossing powders and love to watch it heat up
I love both but I think I would do red with red backing. ❤
Really want to play now!!😮
I love the red flowers. I think I'd go with a stamped message in the right bottom corner.
Thanks again. I never seem to make my contact at the beginning but I always enjoy the videos. And this was even better when you said you were from Philadelphia. 😊 Now I’m going to try some stenciling.
These are stunning
The clear red is absolutely beautiful, I can’t imagine it any more beautiful! Alicia did a great job on this one! I’m looking forward to receiving my order with her Christmas flowers stencil set!
❤
The red parts of the poinsettia are called bracts !
Could do the same with a Versa Mark embossing pen!
Oh! My friend said in Mexico, poinsettias are considered to be weeds! 😮
The colorful “leaves” of the poinsettia are called “bracts”.
Did not know that!
Love Christmas blue and silver and red and gold
You have barely started on the turquoise, and I already knew that was my favorite! This is my first time to catch you live. I always watch the replay so I’m glad to finally get the live version.
Hi.Gina how.are you going.i have been watching videos I am from Australia Tamworth new
Thank you so much for this technique, you are truly an inspiration!! I cannot wait to try it. Stencils have come a long way over the years. Had to watch it on catch up, was a little early for me in the land of Oz.
The cards are gorgeous! Love the technique! Thank you, Gina!❤
I’m with Tom on this one.
Both very beautiful, but Red for xmas and the turquoise for other times of the year ❤
Hi from Pottstown, PA. Didn't know you both lived in Philly. Loved there red poinsettias better. Both nice though.
Clever technique! Thanks for sharing. Will try it with non-seasonable stencils. No time this year for holiday cards.
Thank you for the blog addition on your website. So happy it's there. =)
Darn….I thought I changed my name to Donna K….sorry
I love your videos, Gina and Tom. So soothing and relaxing to watch. You were talking about the differences in east coast and midwest pronunciations. I am from east coast of Canada - we say orange the way you say in the midwest, not PA. Also kitty corner, not catty corner! And "by accident" not "on accident"... however, I lived in Nashville and Florida for a total of 18 years and they say "on accident"!! I found that odd :) The east coast in PA is not the same as the east coast in Canada as far as this goes.
I like them both. Very pretty. I bought an embossing tool and I have some dye. However I don’t know what kind of dye and powder I need. I tried to use what I had bought for embossing but it didn’t work. Please direct me what I need to buy. Thank you. Pat in North Carolina
I was born and raised in Milwaukee and am quite a bit older than you. It has always been 'by accident' as far as I know. This 'on accident' thing is relatively new, I believe. Samey, same...
Lol! Carp I’m here on time but not on time…darn daylight saving time.
Hi Gina I set my alarm to watch you live as I’m in the UK I thought if I set it for 11.00 pm I would catch you live but it seems you had already been on 😔
This was so homey and I lived in Philadelphia too and loved when you were talking about accents. and I still say it the eastern way too. My father was in the Navy and we were always being transferred across country and all over. So I still have an eastern accent.
The cards are both beautiful. I love them both too. I love magenta and turquois too. Some colors you just have a special feeling about. I would make both. but Christmas for me is mostly red and green. I love the idea of shaking it up too...One thing I have to have is glitz and sparkle. To me that's what really makes it happy for me...Lots of glitz and sparkle. Oh I love that. Great show and cards and I love the way you guys talk to each other. It's so sweet and homey.
i love Tom's word of the day! flag-ravated! and Gina... love how you have to say asparagus! i do that with eph'-a-me'-ra! LOL
Can you use embossing powders on things other than paper? I have a cloth covered hard cover journal I'd like to embellish.
I really love the turquoise flowers on the red velvet. Striking!
Always turquoise and would put on turquoise card too, they are both great colours and love the sparkle and shine
😂😂😂 Gina I know what you mean, I always have a block when spelling apologize 🤗
I love e both but I'm drawn the the red poinsettia Because of the gorgeous teal frame. Xx
When using embossing powder, I’ve found it warps less when I heat it on my glass mat!
Gina love your card. Because I don’t have any master layouts yet…. Which one would you recommend to start out with?
Red card for Christmas and Turquoise for New Year!
I like the red flowers with the Turquoise frame. I have to try this technique it is just lovely!!
😂yes embossing powder is a gateway drug. That is what got me hooked! Lol
Congrats to Alicia for a beautiful job. The red does is for me. T4s
Squirrels get corn from feeders can bury it and sometimes it grows
I prefer the card bases to match the flowers. However both are beautiful.
In Michigan we said garden hose or just hose. In the south they call it a hose pipe.
The red card with turquoise flowers is my favorite!@
Lol I say asparagus the same as you when I spell it. I think more people do the same 😂
No favorite. Both have a place. Just lovely. ❤❤
Beautiful cards. Thank you.
Both are so pretty, but red poinsettias win for me! ❤️
@sueenberg4893 my phone has been freezing up when I try to comment on videos for quite sometime now. It's flagravating 😉.
Creek and roof have various pronunciations.
I love these beautiful flowers b❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like the red card the best. Both of them are pretty.
I heard it’s only poinsettias that have all leaves
Both are lovely but I probably like the red better.
Hello 👋 from Northern California ☀️
Southern dialect: gross-ree store 😁
I think the red. More traditional for me.
I never thot of uying blue on flower like i t❤
Hi Tom and Gina, arriving a bit late today!
Is there a reason to not do the centers of the flowers?
I love the red one best but the teal is pretty.
Watching the replay. Beautiful cards!! Love your word of the day Tom!!! Too funny!!!😂
Red. I'm a traditional girl.
Great technique! Thanks
Both are beautiful Tfs ❤
Roof and ruuf and also, creek and crick. So fun to listen to all the difference. I never even noticed the gorcery/groshry but I realize I'm a groshry person. I'm surprized! Fun.
Do you have Taylor Ham or Pork Roll?
Simple beautiful cards! My preference is the red, guess I'm pretty traditional. Love this stencil. I so enjoy watching your videos,
Can't choose they are both pretty
TEAL flower us pretty too
You two are so fun!!!
I love “embossing is the gateway drug” for card making. It’s SO addictive! Both heat and folders. My hubby is fascinated by folder embossing.
This is very cool! Like ya said at the beginning, ya don't have to use traditional colors. I would deffinly go to the purple colors!💜
Beautiful Cards Gina!!! Thankful for the replay!! I attended a funeral today!!!
I say all those things both ways
What is the glue thing that you used
Hello from Riverton Illinois. Looking forward to this new technique. Thanks
Both. Both are my favorite.
Beautiful! Red!!! ❤️👍👍👍
Both are beautiful. 🥰
Beautiful cards! 🌺 I enjoyed your talk about plants, for me gardening and paper crafting are perfect hobbies to combine! More gardening during summer and more card making at this time of the year… 😀
this must be one of THE BEST stencil sets! It always gives stunning results. We are lucky to have beautiful pink point settias in my garden. They grow so well here in Africa
Very pretty ! I like them both
Absolutely beautiful, and I love the colors you used on both colors. Love watching your videos! Tom is great too!❤❤

Regarding regional speech: As a Hoosier, I was amused the first time I went to Texas and noticed the Laundromat there was a “Washateria”
