Goddam you lucky so and so... I'm supposed to have the luck of the Irish..but I don't.. I learnt recently that it was roadies for led zep that coined the phrase 'heavy metal' Due to the cases being reinforced or something..
@@antonytheolddog8626 IT`s not glorious as you think. You lose all Starstruck and they are just normal PPL behind stage (most of the time) and it`s really hard work building the stages and all.....after a while it`s just a job but you are still happy if you can work for Bands you love BC on the Concert you just enjoy it and got free time till it ends - and then hard work again. I recon the personal Roadies got a better time BC they are there for the Instruments and stuff.

I saw Metallica in my football teams stadium 2019 (man city). and that set was just huge, i cannot even begin to imagine the graft that the boys had to do to erect that friggin thing. Im sure it really hard work.. Kinda similar, my daughter got a job to be bar staff at download in 2018 i think. For like the whole weekend . she worked the first shift, then just left the catering and went and watched all the acts for the rest of the weekend. She went back and was told shes fired.. shrugs and goes and watches guns and roses.. LOL I wasn't mad, id have done the same dam ting at 18 years old..

I used to believe that metal guitarists were the greatest on the planet but then I realized it was only the amplification that makes them sound good. Bluegrass flat pickers are infinitely better.
