@@adrianbento3298 ...good for you!!.....P.S. your pace was about the same as mine was for the fastest mile split I ran in High School ( 1968 -1971)..... it was the first mile in a two mile race...I ran many road races after High school but was never super fast...I have seen many high school girls today that if I ran against them they would whoop my you know what... So good for you I say 👏👏👏 🤗
This kid's form reminds me of Kenyan long distance runners. Their foot remains in touch with the ground for the longest possible time thus maximizing their push per energy expenditure.
Let me just say this.... He can run a mile faster than I ever did LOLOL. What a great race and what a heart this kid has. He challenged himself. Not that many kids these days will do that. He's going to go far.
Victor is smaller than many of his peers and he still crushes them, so even if he hits his growth spurt with puberty, he will still dominate. He is a phenomenal talent. A once in a generation talent like Usain Bolt. Remember his name because we will be seeing his name in the record books for many more years. Excellent race Victor, you just keep getting better every year! May God continue to watch over you and protect you, and I hope to see you crushing more races soon.
I don't think he has as much talent as Usaine Bolt or Jakob Ingebrigsten. Victor is training much harder than his opponents & it will be interesting how close he comes to Jakob's age group records.
Comparing to another kid wonder runner that actually evolved to olympic champion, Jacob ingebrigtsen. At 10 years old he ran 4.34.2 at 1500m. At 14 years old he ran 1.53.8 at 800m and 3.50.5 at 1500m !!! At 15 years old he ran 3.42.44 (standing WR). At 16 years old he became the youngest ever sub 4 minute mile runner clocking 3.58.07. Completly insane.
Another name you hear the announcer mention in this race, Patricio Pardo, broke a 36 y/o age group 3k national record in 2023 -- a video of that is also on YT
Victor should've given just enough to win and catch the leader the last 20m or 30m to keep people at the edge of their seats to make it interesting, at the same time, saving some for the next event
My brother ran a 1500m at crystal palace in 5.06 in 1981...10yr olds....just turned 10...I have result sheet. He was aspiring to be youngest sub4 miler...we overtrsined and lost interest. Common!!
Crazy how this kid doesn’t get national attention, but if he were the other demographic it would be a different story. But keep it up young man! Shock the haters.
Awesome performance from the kid but the coaching and his development… I hope it works out. He didn’t PR in 2021 in the 1500m or the 800m or the 3000m. He ran faster as a 9 yr old ! How?! A year of progress and it has shown zero results. He will get better just as age and growth comes but all these AAU kids you look at run so fast young and you don’t see anything in the next year or two from them. Kid is running amazing for his age but his peers will catch up quickly if he doesn’t progress in a way that’s done correctly.
The young lad's kick was amazing, it got the record for him. Such an inspiration! Congratulations Victor!
When this boy grows and the stride increases, he's going to be throwing down some amazing times...
As long as he don’t burn out then yeah prob lol
Nope he won't. These are his prime times. In international races he'll face real competition from Africa. He will be nowhere near the lead.
Bruh I litterly know him irk he goes to my scho
I watched this kid two years ago. Great to see his development
Way to go to all of those 10 yr olds!!! That is AWESOME!!! You ALL deserve a 🎖🥰
@Isaiah you would be wrong in my opinion
Victor amazing as usual he's on another level all by himself.
He was out there by himself. No one was pushing him. Great performance.
I was in that race got 8th lol got
5:19 he is insane
I was the kid in the yellow Jamaica shirt
Nice I got 5:31 in regionals
Btw that’s so fast👍👍👍
Diamond MLGP thanks
Good job hope you continue your athletic career
Mario Arias thanks
Victor has got a great future in front of him. Good luck young man.
I had to go against him in the 800m finals at Jacksonville
@@ShowtimeeJuju How'd it go. Obviously he won (probably), but how'd you do?

he is crazy !! he broke the national record when he was 8 for 5:07 min now hes 10 and runs 4:46!! CRAZY PROGRESSION

the fact that most collegiate athletes wouldn't have been able to lap him in the 1500m is quite the statement

Wowowowow! Amazing ! You’re awesome, Victor 💯💯💯🙌
Holy crap
AMAZING RUNNER! HE'S A TIGER 🐯🐯🐯🐯👑👑👑👑👑🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Shame on me. At the age of 25, I couldn't complete 1600 meters run within 6:30 minutes. Now I'm watching this and motivating myself to do that.
WOW!!! Keep running Dude!!
How are these children able to do this kind of running?? They are amazing!!
That kid blew my mind...he never held back future olymian...that was a great race...congrats you're a future Olympian runner.
He could run faster, but there was no one to compete with ))
He didn't need anyone. Instead he competed against the record and beat it.
Trained until I was 18 only ran a 4:33 at best smh kids a beast.

I ran against him before wow he’s fast
I was there and I watched it he was so good
Victor... you rock buddy! Hope to see you in the Olympics soon 🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love him!!!!!!!
remember the name. He'll be breaking senior records in the future
This Solorio kid broke the 800m record for 8 and under... has developed well
And here i am struggling to catch the bus
The young boy is very very phantastic sportboy😊😊😊
That kid is a beast!
His left arm was crossing his body, unlike in the past. I'm guessing it was hurt. Even with that, he made a stellar effort!
Fantastic run no.5
1.500m a 3:10/km. Eso es correr mucho! 👏 👏 👏 👏
impressive running mechanics. and 2:11 at half!!! what's that record?
Yesser victor!!
this is crazy but I've seen him go even faster. I was at a track meet where he ran a 4:43!!
Awesome keep on goinge
I seen this kid kick a year ago on this, he's going to be a monster, if he can stay healthy, gain some extra height for length and experience. 👀👀👀
When i was ten I couldn’t even run 200m without being tired but now I can rum 3kms
Victor should've given just enough to win and catch the leader the last 20m or 30m to keep people at the edge of their seats to make it interesting, at the same time, saving some for the next event
Dear parents, please don't burn him out by having him do too much.
Victor Jaimez-Solorio RUNS like a Cheetah. The fastest animal on earth today. 😽

Parents, set up a RUclips channel for him. I'd like to keep up with him. He has lots of potential. Subscribers!
He's got one.

The kid has been coached. Look at his running form. He’s been over coached for a kids of his age. Let them just have fun.
Other kids will catch up.

I watch all your videos kid if u see this.
WOW
I saw him
It looks like they are running slow but they aren't. That time is ridiculous for a 10 year old
Aptly named.
To be honest, I am surprised that no other 10yr boy has run sub 5 full mile???
Daniel skandera ran 5:03 mile at 9 years old and 4:46 at 10
