That is an ingenious idea to use an analog meter movement as a motion sensor. I was trying to come up with a simpler solutions than using a accelerometer module. This fits the bill perfectly. I want to put Christmas lights in the cap of my truck and have the lights turn on automatically only when driving the truck. Using this to trigger a retriggerable one shot would be a simple effective solution. Thanx for the idea. I have several salvaged analog meters laying around so I could make this with parts I presently have laying around.
