Jailbreak Save Problem Solved(ish) - Analogue Super NT

- The latest Super NT Jailbreak is out and it (mostly) fixes the save issue found in the previous jailbreak. Follow the steps in the video to reduce (eliminate?) lost save games!

You can leave the sd browse directory to change settings and still save, you just need to do it via "start" instead instead of back. Notice how it says "START MENU" in the bottom area of the SD Browse screen. But the issue you pointed out is accurate and hopefully it gets fixed in the next release.
You are correct! It is a little convoluted, but as along as you never (B) back into the main menu and use Start to change settings, then B to return the SD card list you are fine. However, I get B-to-go-back happy so it's easier for me to remember to just not leave the SD card list.

Try after saving in game down select that will open the roms navigation then press start to the menu then all the way down press Y on Save/Clear settings then save settings press y the really save press Y there you go its saved you can now turn of your console

I'm on the current version of the jailbreak and I never even see the save prompt under any conditions. I press down + select and it takes me to the list of games on my SD card, but there's nothing at all about saving. If I hit Y on the game it just boots the game again.
Thanks for the video. With this new update my Everdrive no longer plays on the Super Nt. Hopefully they can fix this in the next update.
Andrew Keller you should report that here github.com/SmokeMonsterPacks/Super-NT-Jailbreak/issues. Also, you can go back to an old firmware using the same steps

By jailbraking the super nt can you just run roms off a sd? Or do you need to buy a super ever drive also?
dhhhfxfg yes. Except you can’t run games with special chips like Star Fox or super mario rpg. Some ever drives have those chips But super Metroid, castlevania, chrono trigger, super mario world have been working just fine.
They still haven't fixed it, how long does it take holy shit...

What are you seeing? I’ve been saving like crazy over the past few days replaying Chrono Trigger.
When playing Emerald Dragon, it corrupts my saves and deletes them randomly, sometimes even reverting newer saves to older ones.
I’ve only tried a couple of saves with that game but so far so good. I’ll put some more time into it and If i have no issues we should compare ROM headers.
Can you reverse to the original FW after jailbreaking the Super Nt?
snx70 yes. Just put whatever fw you want on the root of your sd card and power on the Super Nt
