The thing is, neem oil is considered organic, so organic growers can still legally use it. My hunch is that neem oil is causing CHS in people, even if smoking organic. The fact only heavy smokers get it shows that the neem oil probably only causes problems if a high amount is smoked.
during my first “episode” i didn’t even need any recovery time from my 3rd ER visit. i just went straight back to my normal eating patterns/smoking patterns the next day and was able to do that with NO symptoms at all, not even morning nausea despite my horrible choice of foods before bed. but during THIS one, if a CHS episode IS what this is, i still feel like i’m in recovery mode. like i still feel sort of malaised at certain points of the day. weird.
CHS is caused also because the body cannot expel cannabanoids. This is what the hospital told me. They said the only way to get rid of the symptoms was to just stop altogether. I am on day 8 of not smoking any weed and I still feel a bit shitty to be honest. Woke up soaking in sweat today especially my neck and shoulders area. My hands will not stop sweating too. It's nuts but Neem poisoning is a possibility however they took bloods and they said nothing was abnormal. It's such a confussing subject. I was unable to eat until I had dinner which was beans with bacon and chips and I couldn't eat the chips but ate the rest. Stomach still feels like I have a lead weight inside it. Still have confusion but no nausea or sickness thankfully. I try to drink as much fluids as I can to flush it out my body but this must take time. Strange I am reacting to a 4 year old video but it shows you how much your videos are getting out there. I do hope your doing alot better along with everyone suffering from CHS. Anyways take care
Just recently went thru this after I’ve been smoking for awhile and nun was wrong but recently been having the pain reaching my back, chest and right side, also not being able to go to the bathroom properly. Every thing you said was on point. I use weed to help with my other medical problems so sucks that the one thing I felt helped I’m actually getting sick from it. Then again to much of something is never good.

Day 7 of CHS from delta 8 vapes, i throw up at least twice a day if not first thing in the morning. I’ve been tricking my stomach by drinking water so i can vomit that before I actually eat so I won’t throw up the food 😭😭 I heard delta 8 was bad news now im a true believer. I was using regular concentrate pens at first but this episode of CHS is worse than that because this one is lasting longer. The first couple times it lasted maybe 3-4 days now im a week in and just wondering when will my stomach be okay again:(

That’s the theory of the medical community because they believe this is caused by an overload of thc which causes the Cannabinoid receptors in your brain to react less than the ones in your gut. Normally when smoking the receptors in our brain overpower the ones in our gut therefore overriding the nausea that the gut receptors want to induce. Another theory is that most people tend to be heavy smokers who are only recently coming down with these symptoms because pesticides have only recently come into use with such concentrations. There is research on several different brands of vape cartridges that showed that labs are testing and finding sometimes ten and sometimes 13 different types of pesticides in its content with lower thc levels than they claim (ie: claiming 90% thc content and testing for 60%). There are many cases of patients who have CHS who have been smoking heavily for only a year. This could be because of the slow build up of pesticides in your system which is TOTALLY exacerbated by using concentrates and can bring symptoms on much more quickly. It’s definitely a back and forth argument between users and the medical community but the research is lacking and nothing can be said for certain, unfortunately.

I was thinking the same thing. Started getting wax from a guy that made it from seed to concentrate with no pesticides but I still kept getting sick. Then I saw that people still get CHS even from synthetic THC so I don't know
PLEASE HELP I've gotten high from marijuana multiple times daily for over a year and I have severe abdominal pain, but I have not experienced nausea or vomiting vomiting. The abdominal pain usually completely goes away when I'm in a hot bath, but it will come back as soon as I get out. The pain will extend to me chest and back sometimes and often seems to hurt more on my right side.. My digestive system seems to not be working properly, and I am experiencing chronic diarrhea, bloating, and sometimes constipation. I've been to the ER multiple times and nobody find anything wrong with me. I've researched everything it could be in an attempt to self-diagnose and I've concluded that I could have cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome without the nausea and vomiting. Any insight from someone more knowledgeable would be greatly appreciated
I'll let you know I started feeling my symptoms after starting to dab and use d8 in an illegal state. I've found out dabs have pesticides in them usually, as do the d8 carts that my state is selling. I think that is what causes the problem

Jessica Lynn my Dad has had this for 6 years and was also diagnosed with gastritis! Until a year ago when he was finally diagnosed with CHS and now the hospital treats him like shit and labeled him a “drug addict” and refuse pain meds!! He’s been smoking for 50 years! He refuses to believe it’s the weed and that it just randomly started to make him sick. He now has nerve damage in his stomach from Suffering from severe CHS for so long. I also heard of someone going into kidney failure and having a heart attack from CHS since symptoms last over a week. It’s really sad and disturbing that doctors are so clueless! I’m on board with it being something in the weed 100% They need to research this and find relief cause a fkn hot shower does NOTHING
I'm noticing a super strange trend in people using conecntrates shortly before having symptoms. Thats really hard for me to ignore cause it seems like such a common accelerator in people experiencing CHS symptoms. Not to mention in the CENTURIES that people have used bud no CHS cases became prevalent until 2004. I mean thats alot of years for something to mysteriously just start showing up in a bunch of smokers. But then theres a small handful of people who get symptoms and insist they only used flower. Its all so confusing and I wish there was more accurate research done. time will tell.

As soon as I turned 18 and got a dab rig and a plug n play cart I got symptoms less than a month later, now I’ll preface that with I was literally smoking flower for about a year straight before this but man suddenly outta nowhere after recently getting into dabbing I just get smacked with the symptoms
I get headaches sometimes but it wasn't really a main part of my CHS symptoms. They did happen just nowhere near as often as the other symptoms. I think theres another person on youtube with CHS vids that is a constant migraine sufferer so he may be a better reference for you.. I'll try to find his channel and link you when I do.

Nope I was only smoking for a week mind you I haven't smokes in 2005 and immediately got the symptoms it's definitely the pesticides

It’s because your still storing thc in ur system and when you smoke you cough and probably throw up right after.

I get headaches sometimes but it wasn't really a main part of my CHS symptoms. They did happen just nowhere near as often as the other symptoms.
