Everyone knows Leo can make crappy songs sound good, but does his talent also work when playing some of the best songs ever made? Yes. Yes it does.
It's rare I find a Queen cover I like. As usual Leo nails it.
Yeah, you have to make it your own and try not to emulate Freddy, because you'll make yourself look foolish. Even then failure is easier than success
Leo as has a special ability to change just about any song into his own amazing version that I'd say is as good if not better than the originals.

I'd love to see a "making of" video. I see all the camera angles, realize how many times you have to run through, and how many hours of footage you're starting with for the typical 4-5 minutes finished product and it blows me away

As a lifelong Queen fan, (saw them 6 time with Freddie) this is one of the very few Queen covers I friggin LOVE. Leo, in his usual genius, made it metal and it kills. The morons who gave it a thumbs down have serious mental issues. THIS version absolutely kills...

This is one of those Queen classics that may not be as huge as some of their other work, but it lends itself so incredibly well for this metal rendition.

Thank you for this cover. Thank you for respecting a sound of my childhood. Thank you for turning it up to 11. Thank you for the very unexpected hard country rock that tweaked my current music preferences. Thank you for rocking a cover that made me see something new in the genre and making me listen to a song that confirms my love of the music from way back when to right now in this moment. There is no word for encapsulating every emotion of the past and making it new and exciting as well as respectful, but there should be! This song is it, even if the word hasn't been invented yet.
The closest word I can think of is nostalgia.
I have fond memories of singing this song with my dad as a kid. He has since passed on but this song always shoots me back to those days. Thank you, Leo I didn't realize I needed this in my life, my dad would have loved it!

Two of my favourite things about Leo's covers are that he has these immense breakdowns that really turn the song on its head, and he ALWAYS plays interesting solos that don't subscribe to "typical" metal approaches.
