This man should be immortal. Anything anyone writes should translate into his concept. It's a whole other dimension. Leo is like a volcano of the best music and musical arrangements I've ever heard. I'm so happy I lived to see this.

@@EvilBonsai Thanks, so much! I'm quite fond of both as well. The symphonic goth metal of the Death Blossoms (top link) is exquisite, though the vocals lack the power I had hoped for. Meanwhile, Andy Rehfeldt's "Flock of Metal" possesses that power in both vocals and music, yet stays quite traditional in it's covering of the song. Thanks to you, my bookmarks now include a version for two different moods!
A couple of buddies of mine and I did a spur of the minute cover of "I Ran" about 7 years ago, I don't have a video of it, but I do have a cassette audio recording of it that I believe that I did a digital copy on Cakewalk 8.0 . Now I have to go back and dig it up, the vocals are done by the bassist, and there's only 3 of us on it. (Guitar, bass and drums ) I'll have to post the audio once I convert it to Mp3 format. I think it was pretty good, especially since it was learned and then recorded in the same night! It was done out of complete boredom, and we were looking for a completely different song to cover that was out of the norm for us considering that we were playing mostly metal.
I'll post a update within this comment thread when I get it completed and posted, if anyone's interested in hearing it! Lol!

Check out Toby Swann singing it. It's not metal but Toby Swann was a punk musician from Toronto in the late 70's and early 80's and released this on his Lullabyes in Razorland album. It kinda has a Pete Shelley sound too it.

Leo is a genius... seriously. I've been into metal & rock music forever.. at least it seems that's all I listen to musically. And Leo is still pulling out these magical videos and awesome covers, most of his work is on point. Most of his songs and videos turn out awesome quality, they're never sloppy or half-assed with the production. That's basically just awesome!!!
