I’ve been trying to figure out what finger release i should have. Both middle finger and split work but since I don’t know what to use my shot gets inconsistent. I usually load the ball by my right quad since I’m right handed. I have a straight shot line starts from quad up to my right eye etc. I’ve had a tough time with this for a while and i feel that my shot is not progressing because of it. What should I use?

I pretty much block my face with the basketball as my set point. I’m guessing this is incorrect and need to get the ball over my head?
nope don’t need to do that at all
