I decided to replace the Revolve 2 for the Revolve 2 Plus version, which is bigger and supposedly more powerful, better in terms of specifications. In the store I tried both models in parallel and I quickly came to the conclusion that Revolve Plus 2 is 10% better which brought me back to the regular version. There is no special and significant difference. I am someone who uses this speaker in a smaller enclosed space, almost never 100% amplified. For open space, I would consider some other speaker philosophy like JBL Xtreme 3 and etc.
do you mean that Revolve2 is usually in a small enclosed space, the sound it emits is loud enough without having to turn on 100% of the volume??? I am intending to buy Bose Revolve2 normally....
Nice review... can we connect old revolve plus (2018) and new revolve plus II as party or stereo mode??? bcoz am planning to buy new revolve plus II. Kindly reply.
@deivanayagam k. The original Revolve will work if you're using Party Mode. For stereo mode, you need to use 2 of the exact same models. Thanks for watching!
@jmartine84 Not with these models unfortunately. The only way is through bluetooth. If you want to use a cable to connect two speakers we'd suggest looking at a pair of powered bookshelf speakers like these from Edifier: bit.ly/3Pv5wLw
Hey David if you googled “ Bose revolve vs Bose revolve 2 “ there was a very nice chart that showed both statistics though they are very close the revolve is going for 129.99 usd which is decent considering there isn’t much of a difference other than it being a “newer generation “
@rayseguin8933 Yes, they can connect to an Alexa speaker. Here are the steps: 1. Put your Bose speaker in pairing mode by briefly holding the Bluetooth button on the Bose speaker until the light begins blinking. 2. Open the Alexa app. 3. Select Devices > Echo & Alexa and choose your Amazon device. 4. Select Bluetooth Devices > Pair A New Device and follow the app instructions.
@keepitreal5148 We agree it's a little outdated, but this product has been in their lineup since 2021, before USB-C was adopted as the primary connection type. All their newer products now feature USB-C, so it's likely we'll see a new version sometime soon that uses it.

You can sync two different models together for stereo left and right? As in the plus for left and the regular for right?

I wish this chick acutally compared the sound of both speakers by playing some music. Missed opportunity.
