The Thing about the Cardigans is that they aren't trying to be ironic/clever... they just love Sabbath so they cover them a lot. They have an alternate version that's more of a samba rhythm I really like that version.
This show has got to be the greatest I've ever seen/heard them play live....their sound is just more than excellent, beyond outstanding!!! Golly, just the thought of being there...

This makes me a little queasy, and I'm not sure why. I mean, it's not terrible, I guess I'm just not a big indie fan. Or maybe its this group. It kinda flat lines, but maybe that's what they are trying to do. Maybe I just don't get it. Its a little clever, just not a lot if you ask me, and I expect more. Not trying to be a hater. Maybe someone can explain it to me?
Where you're wrong: they aren't an indie group. Where you're right: It is certainly their intention to make it sound saccharine and subdued, and yes, it's clever.
