Dan, I’m a big fan of yours. However, I have a few points to raise:
1. Saka is doubtful for this game week.
2. You’ve mentioned multiple times on your broadcast that Cunha scores from an xG of 0.01-so why choose him now, especially when he’s playing away?
3. We’d love to see more analysis on players like Jackson, Havertz, and Watkins.
4. It’s not about being different for the sake of it, but sometimes it feels like you say one thing and then do another.
5. Why not pick Wissa for the next two game weeks? You’ve mentioned he’s a goal-scoring monster.
As for your picks, Saka, Palmer, Salah, Bruno, and Rodgers are all template options except Bruno, who’s under new management. Isak is a solid choice, Joao Pedro is a good budget option, but Cunha doesn’t seem viable until Gameweek 16 when he faces Ipswich and Leicester at home.
I know you’re a content creator, but I’d encourage you to stick to your perspective and avoid playing it too safe. Keep up the great work!

Nice wildcard Dan. I think you will move up the ranks soon! With fantasy football hub, it gives you a team rating and a gw rating. Do you know what the team rating is based on? Is it based on a certain number of gameweeks ahead?
Yes, it’s based on 5-6 gameweeks, weighted so the nearest gameweeks are more valuable
@@FPLMate Thanks Dan! You're in a strong position with the 99% team rating. I have 98% on my wildcard, but it goes to 99% if I switch Gvardiol to Gabriel. I love Gvardiol though!
5 defenders with those defenders, you can pick 3.9 defender instead of one of them and also GK at 3.9, you can get some money and buy something better. If you sell aitnouri and fabianski i think you have money for jackson. Good luck

I'm 10 points behind you at 626 points and 1.9 million rank, however if I didn't take a -32 in GW4 to change my team around as I absolutely hated my wildcard the week prior in GW3 and wanted to change my team again I would have been ahead of you right now.
If you didn’t take a -32 you’d have an entirely different team, and an entirely different total score 😉

Nice video! Is using data for 6 gws only a big enough sample though?
For attacking data I like 6 gameweeks, as it gives a good idea of form. Defensive data I prefer a bit longer to give a better range of fixtures played
Is it worth having son for city instead of a -4 to bring in Saka this gameweek?
Not worth a -4 imo
The biggest problem will be in GW19 and GW20, Fabiański and Verbruggen with difficult fixes. Overall, a solid squad, although I think to keep Wood on the bench for the match against Ipswich and then replace him with João Pedro. And what about Mbeumo, because I see that you don't have him.
I think it’s unrealistic to expect your keeper to have a good fixture literally every week! Just to get this many is a miracle, and I’m not interested in rotating anyway

Have held on to Haaland all season. Salah owners gone so far ahead in my mini leagues now, I'm tempted to just keep Haaland and hope 😢
My wildcard is the same but i have raya in goal, mbuemo over bruno and colwill over kerkez. Raya defo is better, bruno and mbuemo both have good fixtures in the next 2 and my plan is to sell after gw 13 so just gonna keep mbuemo coz i have value in him and united are unknown, kerkez is interesting, him vs colwill is tough but colwill long term fixtures are crazy and .1 mill more for probably a team that finished top 4 their starting cb is too good

My big dilemma is Digne OR Hall? Both fairly similar in terms of attacking threat, average chance of clean sheets and fairly nailed but not guaranteed. 😬

Digne played 3 & Theo Hernandez played 3 in the nations league. Deschamps just rotating his squad, wouldn’t say he’s keeping Theo out of the team

The fun part of fpl is selecting your team using a bit of judgement and knowledge. I love these videos but don't understand why I would get players on the advice of someone else.
I'm not criticising the content - it's very slick and a good watch but for me the fun is making a few mistakes and trying to fix them.

Nobody is telling you to do anything, someone is just giving their opinion. It’s totally up to you what you do after watching an FPL video.

Would you consider Gusto then with James now out again? Just to throw another name out there that has more threat than Colwill
I wouldn’t consider any other Chelsea defender other than Colwill, just too much rotation risk there!

My team is very similar to yours only I've got Timber instead Gabriel, Raya instead Verbruggen, Mazraoui instead of Kerkez, Solanke instead of Ait Nouri. You've changed your tune on Ait Nouri and Pedro from one of your latest videos.

@ there’s no way you’ve been watching him and have come to the conclusion that you “don’t think any player can keep scoring wonder goals every week” - as if that’s all he offers. He creates so much and could’ve easily had 2-3 more assists in the last 2 games alone.
He plays for Wolves, creativity is not a guarantee of assists. I’m not saying he’s a bad pick or anything, but in some tougher fixtures I don’t think he’s a must have, just another solid optional player

Hard disagree. Bruno, Isak and Joao Pedro are very exciting picks, and my defence is full of attacking upside.
A boring Wildcard would pick Mbeumo, and go for safe and secure centre backs in defence.

I think Saka and Cunha are players I would want eventually, so given I’m on a Wildcard they’re in there ready to go for a few weeks time. I think sometimes it may sound like I’m contradicting myself because I wouldn’t advise spending transfers on these players, but on a Wildcard it’s slightly different. There’s no cost here.
I’m not sure if you’ve checked out the “Stick to FPL” channel already, but spoke at some length about the other expensive forwards! My conclusion is that I massively prefer Isak above them all, so this pick is not really up for debate for me.
Wissa is also a player I’m not super keen on, because he is so short term. I did toy with the idea of getting Wissa for 2 GWs then transferring him to Cunha, but I don’t really want to “book in” a transfer. I want to play with preparedness, reliability and flexibility, during a busy schedule where things always go wrong. The crazy transfers will come back out after the Christmas period is over!
I appreciate your detailed reply, I hope maybe I have justified some of my picks! All in all, I just don’t think it’s the time of the season to start making super risky moves. Doesn’t mean I can’t go for some fun picks though, and I think I have!
