In 1957 her career had folded. However, Chris Barber contacted her to come to the UK and sing in his Trad Jazz band, which she did. Trad was big in England at the time as was Barber. She is singing with them in this clip. She was a great success. A great and long career was revitalised!
Theres other footage of this gig with audience arriving by train, muddy waters playing on the platform as people mill around him getting off etc etc. Its pretty convincing !

I regret that I let people talk me out of playing my guitar. I wish I had known about this anointed woman when I was younger!!
