Do people not realize that almost all suits are refined in post. That goes for MARVEL and DC. Frankly, I think people are being willfully stupid.
The suit they released is a "post" suit. Colouring, CGI background. This is what Gunn showed the world. The behind the scene pics, obviously will then require post production clean up. Heck it even looks for fitted than the previous image.. whichas well can be tightened up in post.

I love how people bitch and complain about the suit being baggy, but never said the same thing when Captain America’s suit was baggy as well. First avenger and even endgame suits were baggy, but no one said a damn thing.

Everyone needs to just relax. So sick of the quick hate reactions. James Gunn made Guardians a huge hit when very few people were into that comic book. I got total faith. We are so lucky Superman is not being destroyed like they have done to Star Wars with that woke BS and force is female garbage. So to bring up the negative stuff myself but I am just so happy Superman looks like it is going to be done right.
Exactly we should be happy right now that we are finally getting a Superman movie and I know it sucks we don't have Henry Cavill anymore but we got to move on no disrespect but Henry Cavill is old by the time Superman Legacy comes out he will be in his 50s if the DCEU still existed

I like that Gunn is staying true to the look from the comics, a little updates like the stitching & collar I understand. overall the costume works & you're right - it pops. now I'm hoping Gunn oversees the post production when the CGI is added, I hate going to a 200 million dollar movie & the visual effects look like a dang cartoon - it's sloppy. fingers crossed & excited.

I really love his suit, the trunks really work and just pop off. And we’re finally getting the cape logo again, which I love because like the front logo it’s the kingdom come logo. When I first watched Guardians Vol 1 I never predicted that James Gunn would direct a Superman movie. And he is cooking
Same here! But after his Guardian’s trilogy I’m glad he got to explore more comicbook characters. He’s proven time after time that he’s one of the best comicbook movie directors
He just looks like superman. and now we can see he looks nothing like cavill's superman. if cavill had the macho stoic side of superman nailed, david has the sparkle in his eyes like christopher reeve

I absolutely love the colors. And I am so hyped that the yellow symbol is on the cape! But I do prefer the classic symbol from the Christopher reeve era but the kingdom come one is also cool

Literally perfect! The lines are actually pulled of nice here and the colors are exact! Mr. Terrific also looks great but like why not reveal the suit like this instead of him somberly putting on boots.

Idiots gotta realize in most modern movies the suits are loose fitting a bit to allow freedom of movement because it will be edited in post production.And also if you read ALL STAR SUPERMAN he gets weakened by SOLARIS and loses weight.So relax people , Gunn knows the source material extremely well.Snyder never understood Clark Kent or the DC metropolis world.Its not NY its METROPOLIS. And lastly in the great novel "DEATH of SUPERMAN" Clark Kent wrote a essay on the flying man in the bright blue suit for the Daily Planet.Gunn will do justice by the big Boy Scout because after he is our legend and he represents HOPE! When i heard he was getting this job and his hiring came. I knew it was gonna be a bunch of BS. He doesn't have merit to be doing this. His films before GOTG were all trash and flops. His GOTG were off the backs of the MCU and Kevin was the 1 that turned Disney around. Gunn isn't gonna save the DCU and once WB sees that, maybe they will sell them rights. Bcus at least Synder had his own vision and didn't have to copy anyone's else vibes. Gunn is doing the complete opposite and he has MCU vibes all thru this Superman movie. LOL!
