Ian Black's video on programming the same timer shows how to set the day of the week. You started off with setting the time, changed minutes to 16 from 13 then selected the right arrow which made the drop above the time start to flash. You brushed past that without saying any thing about it. When the drop is flashing, plus or minus will move the day of the week to wherever day is current.
Has this model lasted you? I am looking into getting one, but don't want it to be a "buy a new one every year" kind of deal. Is this a good option? Solid construction? No leaks? Lasting quality?
I have that happen on one after a couple of years of use. If a change of battery doesn't fix it, I usually run down to Home Depot and get a new one for around $39
I've just purchased a mobile home and thanks to your instructions I believe I can handle programming the timers. Thank you very much
We love anything that can automate any process - gives us more time to focus on other projects. Thanks for this little how-to!

Perfect! Thanks for posting this. It was exactly the info I needed. :-)
Excellent instruction!!
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Thank you very much. Much to the point, just right.
Thank you! Very helpful.
Same question as David Adams. How do you get rid of a programmed time?
I turned a second start time on that I want to turn off. how do you turn a start time off?
Informative, thanks a lot!

I'm still using it. Now in my greenhouse. I have an additional one for outside that I bring in when winterizing. I replace the battery every spring.
@@Tiki71 Thank you sir!!
Thanks so much!
thank u man ...
best regards .
What day does the timer think it is today? When you put in a new battery is it Monday by default?
Valve does not open for manual watering. Programming is as instructed. All other functions are fine. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi there! My battery is dead! I tried to change it but couldn’t open it! Do you have to unscrew something? I just didn’t see how you opened it? Thanks
thank you
What I am looking for is how do I know what my settings should be? How often do I need to water and for how long? Is it just trial and error?
To turn off a start time 2, 3' etc go to start time nd press + button till it goes to off.
Even with your help its not able to start program i believe it has a problem with the mode button can i get it fixed somewhere
I'll add to James Buchanin's question. How does the timer know what day it is?
everythings is well till I try to use the manual settings and nothing happens. Also I did set the timer and nothing happen. Any ideas? Cheers mate
Can you please tell me if you have start1 and start2 set how to turn off one of these so you are back to only start1?
If I remember right, you have to cycle through with the sideways arrow until you get back to it.
@@Tiki71 thank you I will try that
