Bardstown has everything going for them. They may not have the history like most distilleries, but just about everything they do, they're killing it. It's a must tour stop if your doing bourbon trail.
I picked up the Bards BIB last weekend at TW, I like it and I get that dried apple skin, but I also get a little caramel apple from the nose too, I was looking at the white label one too but only picked up one from there

I bought the Origin black label wheater BIB first and love it. Going to pick up the white label when I find it. In my area, black label is $49.99 and white label is $44.99. Nice price point for Bardstown using their own juice.
Dan, you’re crazy buddy! The wheater is PHENOMENAL! After visiting Bardstown a few times during the Kentucky Bourbon Festival, they are by far my favorite distillery right now. They’re doing some amazing stuff, the property is modern and beautiful. The food is KILLER. Most importantly…their juice is amazing. They have everything going for them right now. Mark my words, within the next 5-10 years when their distillate gets older, MGP is gonna be BBCo’s biatch 😂

Got both of these. Really enjoy both Black label reminds me of some makers wood finishing LE’s White label tastes like an orange push pop for me and easily take it over Blantons Home run for both IMO
Got to try all three expressions straight out of the barrel on a tour at the distillery. The wheated was closer to 125 out of the barrel and I really wish they had left it there. It was awesome at barrel-proof. The bourbon was good too, and the rye mash bill is pretty crazy and has a super interesting flavor profile. Looking forward to more stuff from Bardstown.
Yeah. The Barrel thieving tour was great. We enjoyed all of the barrels. I think I preferred the bourbon the most, but that is just my general bias. They were all good.
Last weekend I saw a couple of empty slots on the "what's new" shelves, looked at the stickers on the front edge and of course it was these Bardstown bottles. I'm looking forward to getting these to compare it to blantons...
These have not dropped in my area. but I was traveling this weekend and got to pick up a bottle of each. Been hearing great things about them. so looking forward to trying these when I get home. cheers. 🥃
This hugely reminds me of the BT Kosher compare. They liked the rye over wheat with almost the same types of comments. And i was opposite there too. I like the consistency. Bardstown BiB is the best new BiB I've had.
I love the BIB, in fact I went out and bought two more bottles but wheaters fit my taste profile! Haven’t tried the white label will have to give it a try. Love the price point on both of these!

Bardstown still isnt sold here sadly. I did get to share around a sample of 2022 gts tho. Most people were very disappointed lol. it completely lacks balance. Still good, but definitely my least fave gts of the ones ive had.

Both of mine had bitter finishes on neck pour. Will have to see once it’s been open few days if that changes

The "regular" bourbon I liked, I was not a big fan of the "bottled in Bond" though.
Tried the 100 proof origin next to fusion and discovery #7 and did not like it. I agree with Dan on this one.
