oz is a surfers paradise..I had some Australian friends who used to camp at Leo Carillo a few miles above Malibu...57 years ago or so....they came every couple of years...for about 6 years or so...they showed us photos of many spots in oz and taught me how to make a boomerang which I turned into a little fun business...this was the late 70's thru the early 80's...I was riding a twinner in late 70's and they were amazed I had one...they always invited me to where they lived in Queensland but I never had the money for that kinda trip back then what with a family and work etc....they were good people. we were all in our late 20's/early 30's..they were all very accomplished surfers far more advanced than us in some ways but we learned a few tips from
them and improved our surfing...I'm 76 now but those were good times...we had many a Mickey'sBig Mouth and Fosters...they were from Noosa? if I remember correctly.

Ah man sounds like they were rippers, twin fins are so fun. Can't beat a fosters with a cracking sun set. its never too late to come back to Australia!
