I’ve been using these 2 years now and I’ve not run into any problems. I’ve had several brands of reels and these reels have given me less problems than the others I’ve used twice as much. But I think every reel company has had some kind of problem with their reels. I used mine everyday just about. They’re left out in the sun, fell in the water or pretty much any thing iI put them through. From a guy that isn’t on a pro level or sponsored? I use these and they’ve never failed me. The drag is still intact… it’s happened to me with several brands of reels.so I think it’s just opinion on any reel and it’s down falls… just choose your medicine
I have a Sharky 3 spinning reel and I've noticed the the part that attaches to the reel (the stem??) Is kind of flexy. Other than that the reel was fine and I've had it for a couple years and probably used it for musky for most of one year until I got a reel baitcasting musky reel. I like the smaller reels by that company just fine. I'll take Okuma before them and Shimano first.
I just watched the video where u broke it...just my opinion..but it looked alot more like operator error to me...your main drag was too loose and you tried to compensate by adjusting the baitfeeder drag instead of the actual drag.flipping the baitfeeder on mid fish would not be recomended...it also appears that the parts in the bag are not the parts that broke..(i.e. the baitfeeder switch was in the bag but appeared to be completely in tact when u broke it)...just calling it like i see it
@@DWSOutdoors all I did was compare the parts in the bag to the breaking video (which was separate) and I seen it did not break.. Also.. Why crank the drag for the bf if the front broke? And finally.. Why on gods green earth wouldn't u show your audience the failure point of the product ur saying broke?... I assume it's to get them to click on the other video as well... Ain't no noob here bro.. Try again 😉🤣
@@DWSOutdoors Hey... I could be wrong.. But considering that u have the only negative video of the reel.. I shouldn't have to watch another video and not see the result to understand the review.. Again just the opinion I'm entitled to..
I completely understand what you think as most RUclipsrs LOVE their clickbait but I know what happened and simply put I just tried sharing that with the world but if you want to you can still go buy the reel and try it out for yourself as what I explained is just my experience...
Consider all the costs to put a reel for sale then what KK is charging. Consider the costs of Ads, distribution, storage, salaries for employees etc. KK's price tells you right away how little in actual reel parts value your getting.
I really like the Okuma baitfeeder reel so far. That's one of the most expensive reels I've ever purchased at 50 bucks. The only other reels that are around 50 bucks that I have are Shimano. I believe Shimano makes a baitfeeder reel in one of the larger sizes. Possibly try one of those if you get another large rod?
You can purchase a new older model Penn live liner 460LL to 760LL for about $100 and shipping plus make offers to the seller for lower. Sadly anglers sell their loyalty to Kast king for a cheap reel where K king gives exact conditions required(AKA exact words raving the reel) to get the free reel. Then you have the true honest angler like yourself which I tip my hat to. Kast king was suppose to be this company that offers high end quality for a low price and does so by cutting costs in advertising, avoiding middlemen and more but their reels continue to go up in cost while you the consumer pay for their experimentation with builds. I think they did whatever they had to get a foot in the door to sell their questionable products and hope over time they find a way to resolve multiple design fails.
It came with a bag of parts in the box? Must have been a fluke. A return that someone broke and then accidently got put in the wrong place and got reshipped back out or something.
I ordered the 6000 got it today and already sending it back. No way in hell is this cheap Chinese junk gonna hold up to any Missouri catfish my penn fierce 3 6000 dwarf this tiny junk king reel. I recommend people just to stay away from all junk king products.
Saturday night I caught a 55lb blue in the Missouri river on a 10ft ugly stick catfish special rod that has 1 of my Penn fierce 3 reels on it size 14 circle hook 14oz of weight on a big shad head. It got stopped dead it its tracks and turned around didn't make it to the current. I also use 100lb power pro braid. I wanted a bait feeder system for the flatheads since once the feel any resistance they will just drop the bait and move on.
Suggestion..stop selling yourself and your business endeavors and spend more time on the reel. If you have to stipulate "your honest", Ill be honest as well.
So did he use it or just pull it out of the box and send it back? I am confused. I have a last king and it is fine. I think he just had a fluke

Watch it again it broke while I was reeling and after I tried to figure out why…. Nice try trying to put the blame on me 🤣

So what happened or where is the footage of the problem???

The Okuma is still a midrange reel and the bigger Shimano's cost about double lol So till I have a reason to go bigger I will stay midrange for now!
Dave I’m glad you wised up and got rid of the KastKing. Send it back and get your money back.

Kast king strikes again lol!! They might as well add Led lights to the reel as the final touch with their gimmicks
Diawa makes some good baitfeeder spinning reels (for a little more $)you get what you pay for.
Diawa makes the best reels on the market overall
$$ range and for the species a penn live liner 460LL to 760LL can be purchased for around $100 on ebay or other sellers.

I really want to try a pen bait feeder how do you like it for large to extra large kittys?
