      @hivemind3000 5 лет назад +1

      Why use Cardi in this example? A better example would be someone like Aubrey, but I agree he definitely would’ve fit perfectly in the Dungeon Family era. Reminds me so much of Big Boi in terms of lyricism, production, and being able to rap over different beats. He should be mentioned with Cole, Wale, Sean, and Kendrick.

    • @eternalyfeful
      @eternalyfeful 5 лет назад +4

      @@hivemind3000.. .hey there! I totally respect where you're coming from, but to answer you, I named Cardi B because she was a specific and general example of the kind of "artist" that has a large following, big success, all the things a hardworking, complete artist like Krit should enjoy in my humble opinion. She doesn't write, she doesn't produce, she does nothing but talk shit, shake ass and basically be a stripper on the mic like Jermaine Dupri said. Krit works hard, his entire catalog of music is dope, and underappreciated, I'm just trying to give this brother the credit he deserves.

      There is a degree to that imo. You also have to self proclaim your own greatness before anyone else will believe you once you put your work out there, no matter what business you do. If you don't show up like you belong in a certain space, then it's harder to be received.
      I speak highly of myself to hold myself accountable in mastering my craft so when I present to others, they first take me seriously when I walk in certain rooms (respect), and then refer me to others which builds your reputation. It's all about balance!
