Maldives gets super busy on North Male atoll but I have found in general when the surf gets big the crowds thin out. Staying at lohis there is a 40 surfer cap and I found the crowds really reasonable at lohis. The other breaks can get bad though, especially when the surf is so so. Part of the benefit of the cap is you get to know all the surfers over the week so you all get along. It’s a good vibe. Pasta point is capped and exclusive too. It’s probably similar there.

Wow looks absolutely gorgeous. If you don’t mind what was the ballpark cost of your trip there I’m pretty keen to get over there.
5.5 for the week. Highly recommend the trip if you’ve got the cash but there are great waves in cheaper places too.
A lot of that is flights though so depends where you’re coming from. Can’t remember the breakdown for just staying on the island.

Wettie singlet for the ribs and the rest for rashes and sunburn. Rashy pants were a game changer. Highly recommend.
