This is incredible, Lucy. The story is so creative and I can tell it’s going to help educate so many sighted children and adults, and give blind children and adults a story they can see themselves in (no pun intended).

as for cool blind characters: i recomend to check The Magnus Archives! It is horor so not for everyone, but Melany is absolutely epic character. She has vision at begining but then plot happens there is a moment i absolutely fan of: she goes in dark place with character and character be like "melany, do you need a hand?" and she be like "you know this place?" and the character like "mm no actually" and melany be like "well and i do know it, so i think the one who need to be guided is you" i swear i heard cool meme honks sound effects in my head then i got to that moment
Incredible story 🩷, I was thinking of buying for my niece who is loosing her vision , but she is only 6 , do you think she’d enjoy it ? as it seems it may be a bit complicated for younger children and they may not understand the moral message behind it , and I would not want to cause her confusion
