Stephanie, in order to preserve the coating on your rivoli and prevent your seed beads from tarnishing, I suggest using Permalac, which I purchased from Potomac Beads. The Permalac is not as thick as fingernail polish. It also slightly stiffens your design, which is great when I make fringed earrings, which many times want to fold vertically in the middle while wearing. I love your designs, and now that I am semi-retired I plan on making lots of them! Thank you for your detailed videos that go at a pace that I can follow. Happy Beading!
Seriously I get more compliments when I wear this ring than any other piece of beaded jewelry I’ve made❤ Thank you Stephanie for sharing your patterns and tips too
I answered someone already, but I thought, maybe more people were wondering if this design would work with a 12 mm Rivoli instead of the cushion cut. The answer is: absolutely yes. I just finished one ring with a 12 mm Preciosa Rivoli and it worked absolutely fine, tho I had to add one more row to the back to have the stone sit really snugly, did 2 rows, because it looked great. Otherwise, the rest worked the exact same and it is really comfortable to wear.
Ok, this is one of the most inspiring beading tutorials I’ve ever seen!!! I’ve made countless rings from this, everyone in my family has one! I had to order a Swarovski Crystal In Sunshine DeLite for my yellow loving sister... can’t wait to make another one, perfectly timeless.....

I, too, have really enjoyed this series, especially the bezeled cushion cut stone. Thank you for your suggestion concerning pulling the stitching too tight while working on the bezel--I am so guilty of doing that, then I get all flustered when my stone pops out of the other side, and then...I put my project down and walk away. Thank you for your calm, quite and very useful teaching technique.
Hi, I came to your video by accident and I am sooooo glad this happened.👏👏👏 I just looked at your beautiful pieces and I was hooked so I stayed to see the tutorial. After the two lines of beading, I gave you my 👍 and I suscribed. You explain everything so well, your camera is clear and it is very easy to see your work and the fact that you do not have any music is wonderful. For all this, I would have given you thousands of thumbs up but unfortunately I can only give you one. Thank you for sharing this beauties with us. I am going to put an order in for some more beads so going to have a go at this which is lovely. I struggled a bit with coming back to beading after about 5 years but just made 2 of your beautiful bracelets by watching and going back and watching again. Thanks so much for your instructions. In the UK it is not so easy to get everything from one place so it takes time to build my stash up for beading.
OMG I just watched this video again because finally, I'm making this ring tomorrow .. I'm so behind, everybody already made one or more but here I go, I can't wait, it is so gorgeous!! I might have commented on this ring before, because it was love at first sight. Thank you Stephany for all your time and wonderful tutorials. I call it " Teaching from the heart" because it transmits your love of beading. 💞🌺😊
I am just learning, I have never done beading befour. You say that there is more than one way to do this. I'm sorry but I WILL NEVER do it any other way then the way you do it. I think you are amazing and an amazing teacher.
An absolutely beautiful project. AND I finally get odd count peyote. Yippee!!! I've been beading for many years. I've done some complex intricate designs but that odd count just didn't make sense. Something fairly simple but it just didn't "click". You made it clear as a bell. (You do know you were born to do this and to teach those of us who love this craft.) Many, many thanks for your designs, teaching and the chuckles!

What a stunning ring! I have watched your tutorial of 18x13 mm oval fancy stone ring and bezeling chaton to make rings/earrings. This cushion cut was more sophisticated than the others but design and how the stone sits on the beaded setting is so elegant. Plus peyote stitch of ring chain with 15/0 edge makes more elegant compare to using delica only. Thank you for the tutorial and design. I have always loved your anchor like voice to follow the tutorial. So many more beading to do, get advanced. What a great hobby I start beading and the youtuber like you to teach beading! Thank you!!!
Such a beautiful design! However I was unable to wear the ring because the point on the back of the stone was very uncomfortable and cut into my finger. I made the earrings instead and I am very pleased. Thank you for sharing your talent as a designer and instructor!
Thank you Jan💜 You can bead the back to minimize the point showing. Keep bezeling the back, skipping beads in the corners to bring the bezel in and you can just about cover the stone.
I love your tutorials, and this ring in particular is a favorite of mine. I would like to use a 18mm cushion; I know there would have to be some changes to accommodate the larger stone. Would you say there would be a standard increase (such as ‘overall increase by 2 seed beads’) I can incorporate? I have been able to increase the rivoli stones, in other tutorials, fairly easily, but not so much with cushion cut stones. I would appreciate any suggestions you have. Thank you
I really like how you made all of those pieces . They are so elegant looking and look fun to make . I have one cushion bead that I think I'm going to try to make that ring.
In the light blue ring, did you use 11/0 Hex Cut Delicas or 11/0 Duracoat Galvanized Gold Delicas? From the video, it's hard to see if they are hex cut. Thank you. Absolutely love your jewelry!
Hi again, initially, I admit that I grumbled about needing another form of rivoli, so I am late starting this Estate series. But when I saw the ring design I said YES and it took me a few days to get my supplies. Am I glad that I did eventually start! This has to be one of the prettiest bezels, Stephanie! The first one feels like a small miracle happened. The band is so gorgeous I think I will incorporate it into other rings that have those 3 delicas begging for it on their backs. My second one is a deep garnet red cushion Rivoli and it is amazing. So thank you again for such a beautiful design. P.s. as a French-speaker every time you say quatre foil, I get hives. The term means four-leaved. La feuille means the leaf. In French it’s quatre-feuille... pronounced “katr foy”... the closest thing that might describe the sounds... no ell sound. Ta-daaa... your daily French lesson!
Thank you Judith🌻Glad you have decided to add the square/ cushion cut stone to your repertoire😃It really is a beauty and easy to work with. So sorry about my pronunciation! I’m going to call it a flower from now on 🤣🤣🤣🌸🌸🌸

Hi Stephanie. I have some beautiful 20mm cushion cut square Swarovski amethyst stones I would like to duplicate you design with. Wondering if you could suggest seven or nine delicas?
I would have to create it using the 20mm (Which I don't have) The embellishment may change with the larger stone. Try both and see how it goes. Let me know. There may be others who would like to use a larger stone so it would be very helpful! Thanks!
I love your videos. I don't understand why a person would do a thumbs down without leaving a comment. If I were to make a video and a person did the thumbs down, but did not explain why it deserved a thumbs down, how can I improve? It makes me think they are just rude, or just a "mean girl" (or boy) (LOL) . Constructive criticism is a good thing. But if you just criticize without explaining, you are not a good person. But, of course, that is just my opinion. P.S. Love your nails.
Thank you so much for sharing, yet again your amazing talent and making it possible for everyone to have a go at being creative. I look eagerly look forward to getting the latest beauty from you. Very many thanks
The ring on your finger... lease what color is that bead in the center? It looks almost like a silver or silver lined white? It really sparkles. Thanks!

What a beautiful set, thank you. I'm just a beginner at beading and really enjoyed it. However, I struggled with the payote stich. Do you have any tips for a beginner.
Thank you 🙏 I have a video on odd count peyote in my peyote playlist on my channel. Check it out. There are other peyote projects as well. Kudos to you for making this ring as a beginner!!! Usually the bezels are the trip up part🌺🌸😄
Hello Stephanie, I have a bunch of 10mm cushion cut fancy stones. Do you think 4-3 Delicas and 3-2 15/O would work? I’m absolutely in love with this particular design.
Possibly. You would have to try it and adjust to accommodate the smaller stone. Sometimes it just doesn’t work with a different size stone and some times it does. Give it a try. Maybe make your corners an even number and your delicas an odd number as in the original. I’ll try it as well. Would be fun to experiment with the numbers.
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry Thank you so much for getting back to me. I figured I would get your input first since you’re more familiar with this type of beading. I’ll give it a shot tomorrow. If nothing else I can possibly do two colors of Delicas around at first, then the 15/O.
Hi Stephanie!! I want to make the blue green ring. It will go great with an outfit I have. Can you remember what the square stone color was in that? Was it a swavorski stone? I know you are busy, but would appreciate your help! Many Thanks, Bev
Thanks for the tutorial so much , i just have a question , how do i know the count of beads i start with any other sizes of crystals ? And does this technique you made works for square octagon crystal too ? Thank you
Each bezel has a particular number and size beads. You can take a look at this video. It goes into detail about figuring out bead numbers to get a perfect bezel. ruclips.net/video/fsAnVD3a_u4/видео.html

Какая красота, горомное спасибо за доставленное удовольствие.
I'm sorry for my mistake. Beautiful wonders, thank you very much Stephanie:))) I love cushion cut Swarovski fancy stones.
I love Swarovski cushion cuts as well! One of my fav stones🥰
Just adapted this for a 14mm stone. Thank you!
Great!
Am trying to do the same. How did you do it??
As always, beautiful design crafted beautifully and your tutorial is so well done. You are definitely my favorite beading tutorial maker to watch!! Have a wonderful year and look forward to see what the coming year has in store from you.
+Dianne Bolognani Thank you so much Dianne 🌻😃🙏
Thank you Denise 🙏😊🌻 Internet trolls and grumpies 🤣🤣 😆
I love this pattern so much!!! I only have 10mm cushions, How many beads do I use for the base? Thank you
If you use a 10mm it will change the entire unit so the rest won’t fit.
So pretty!! 😍 I can’t wait to recreate this! Thanks Stephanie. 😊
Thank you 🙏
I just happen to have that same stone . Can't wait to try this out. Hopefully it will be as easy as you make it look.😁💖🤗
So glad you’re going to try this ring 🌻😊🙏 Thank you😍
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry You are so welcome.
Whew... so glad you took that well! Flower... I like it!
Beautiful! Are you using Toho or Miyuki seed beads? Will a regular 11/0 work or are delicas a must? Thank you!
Thank you 🙏 I used Miyuki . Toucan try regular seed beads but I think Delicas make a more secure bezel.
Loving the nails today Stephanie!
Thanks😀 💞
I just ordered the supplies for this! I have a feeling this will be my new favorite!🥰😘
Thank you 🙏
Just so beautiful !

The ring on your finger... lease what color is that bead in the center? It looks almost like a silver or silver lined white? It really sparkles. Thanks!
I don’t always remember offhand so I put all colors and links to purchase ( if needed) in the description box under the video. Click the down arrow or show more and the box will open. Scroll down to colors and links.
This ring is stunning! 😍 💍
I made the bezel, only to find that my cushion cut rivoli is a 10mm...ughh! 😆
I'll attempt it later on when I get the 12mm
TFS!💗
Bummer! You’ll love it when you get your 12mm cushions😍
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry I've ordered the 12mm cushions, I can't wait to make this ring... It's gorgeous! My mom will love it for Mother's Day! 😁

Thank you Lucie😊
What a beautiful set, thank you. I'm just a beginner at beading and really enjoyed it. However, I struggled with the payote stich. Do you have any tips for a beginner.
Thank you 🙏 I have a video on odd count peyote in my peyote playlist on my channel. Check it out. There are other peyote projects as well. Kudos to you for making this ring as a beginner!!! Usually the bezels are the trip up part🌺🌸😄
Thank you for this tutorial, this ring is gorgeous.
Your very welcome 💜

You truly are my favorite beading instructor on RUclips. Your work is always stunning and creative! Have a great day. 😊
Hi Stephanie!! I want to make the blue green ring. It will go great with an outfit I have. Can you remember what the square stone color was in that? Was it a swavorski stone? I know you are busy, but would appreciate your help! Many Thanks, Bev
Glad you found them🙏😊🌻 I think you’re going to love this ring!
Whata gorgeous nailpolish color🙂🙂
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the tutorial so much , i just have a question , how do i know the count of beads i start with any other sizes of crystals ? And does this technique you made works for square octagon crystal too ?
Thank you
Each bezel has a particular number and size beads. You can take a look at this video. It goes into detail about figuring out bead numbers to get a perfect bezel.
