Why are you guys focusing on marketing and plugs? Is the songs or the album can be compare to any album released in Ghana since 10 years ago? The talent is super, the music is great, raw talent, and the songs are highly spiritual. Davido just said recently that he spent $2m in promoting his last album and didn’t get the response he expected. How many artistes have such amount to pump into marketing and promotion even with labels? Do we even analyze whether the investments results in the dividends and outcomes the artistes want? Or it’s just cos we see others do it so that has suddenly become the standard for everyone else to follow. It just doesn’t add up.
