NOTE: Ghanian needs to take this narrative out of their mind that Nigeria 🇳🇬 want/will take what belongs to another country. We don't take anything from anybody. This is the reason Nigeria 🇳🇬 will continue to grow in an astronomical rate because we" flow like water" Pheelz said. No one can tame us we move. Our success and progress are in God support and our gene and God place us where we are in all facet of Life not only music

I know right, they are the ones actually copying from Nigeria. Lasmid, a Ghanaian artist even said it. He said, “we sound like Nigerians, because they are the ones making waves right now”. From Camidoh, Kelvyn boy, Gyakie, they all copied from Nigeria. Yet, you will have Banku villagers say, Nigeria came to copy from them…😂😂😂

Please Ghanaians, correct this negative characterization of Nigerians as aggressive. They're industrious and persevere in every of their undertakings and equally resourceful. Aggression with no brain or intelligence won't take you anywhere. So, keep this in mind .

What PHEELZ is not articulating properly about the 9JA sound is that our traditional sounds like Juju, Fuji, our High life version, Original Afrobeat etc. are the source of the new sound that has gone global.

  • @olumideaduloju6409

What the interviewers are trying to get at and what Pheelz probably didn't say is that there are influences to the Nigerian sound that makes it unique whether it's from the perspective of the producer or the artiste.
There are things that are innately Nigerian that any Nigerian can easily relate to. There's the Nigerian culture and traditional sound and instruments. There are Nigerian legendary musicians, There are Nigerian traditional music genres, there are Nigerian churches, mosques, chants etc. All these and more are what influences the Nigerian sound. It's a mix of what makes Nigeria Nigeria if that makes sense. It's the shared identity. Not really about a general technical knowledge hive.

This question about how Nigerian artiste do it is like asking a question about "how Nigerian-yoruba talking drum works (gangan drum)" - the answer is just: it comes from inside the drummer-it's internal. There is no formular to it, no music code or what have you. By the way, nice conversation..

What are these ghanaians actually looking for in Naija?, this looks like fact finding mission than an interview, please Pheelz dont spill much, this concern from ghana is not from a place of love, its Jealousy, first they want to find out who produces us, the record labels we are signed to, how we promote our music, they want to copy and paste, then later they say it all started in ghana.
