Why do people come on this and then whinge on about her singing??? Don't view it then! I saw her in Tynemouth and she exudes energy at 66! Ffs. I really enjoyed it and I thought she was brilliant. Her singing and stage persona was fab! Really enjoyed it.

The more shows she does, the stronger and better her voice gets. She was fantastic at Cruel World, but this is on a different level.

Since I was a kid in the 80's and finding a Banshees record in my parents collection I was hooked on Siousxie and her music. Shes a legend. Thanks for this.
Thank you. I was most impressed by, "Switch". I honestly never thought she could manage that one, without making it a rather acoustic version...which would've been really good, as well (as always, I miss the signature sax...it adds so much to that epic piece). "Carousel" was an absolute treat; esp. since it was a song I've had on a wish list all Summer...I knew she could still sing that song.
She and The Boys (Steve, Joe, Chris, and Rob) NEED to get in to a studio and make beautiful noise and magic together. They are so in sync with each other, esp. for this mini tour in 2023. I sure hope 1 or both of these nights were recorded for posterity.
if a brief conversation i had with steve, who was lovely, is anything to go off of, they should be working on a new record foreseeably

If Siouxie SANG about Rivers in 2023, according to GREENPEACE, Sioux would be translating as Turds... because 2023 UK announced all UK Rivers beaches are toxic with septic...
I was at this concert - thank you so much for posting as I was so enraptured with her and the whole show - hypnotic, nostalgic, thrilling - that I didn’t take a single photo or record any songs, and now I have a wonderful record of the whole concert! She was awesome and seemed to enjoy herself so much more than when I saw her in the 80s - keep rockin’ lady!
Out of everyone from that period, nobody embodies the punk spirit like Siouxsie.

My 1st time of meeting Siouxise was in 1983 or 1984 in ICA London by chance i had encountered my Royal grandparents in unusual situation.Siouxise is something unbeatable+special.x Morticia Lavina.x
I must admit when she started this mini tour I tought she shouldn't have, but I must say she is at her best now. I wish I could see her one more time in Buenos Aires.

I wonder what passes for fun in siousxies life, these days... a cheeky livener, a dance round a candle with a bottle of plonk...a darts night? p.s next time you have your shower beep red and refuses to dish out any water... turn off shower completely, turn heat gauge to nought, leave for five mins or so.... switch back on. should work as it's only informing you lack of pressure. in pipes.....top daily mail tip.

Shes a huge star the voice hasnt been what it was for a long time and yet she still cant fail to mesmerize. One thing for sure there is nothing nostalgic about Siouxsie she is still completely modern, her own creation.

I was in two minds whether to go to this or let my ticket go as she has clearly lost 85% of her voice but I’m glad I went as she can still cast a spell and still has massive stage presence !
I would say, she's lost 45% to 55% of her classic range/tessitura from 1978 to around 1994. Having had sinus infections, asthma, bronchitis, recovering from quitting smoking (quitting, which, ironically caused many her nasal and vocal problems), and just plain old live singing and recording since 1977 to 2008, took its natural toll. She is 66 years old, after all. However, the 2015 single, "Love Crime" proved that she still has that classic quality within her...which got shown here particularly with, "Carousel" (last sung in 1988) and "Switch" (last performed 21 years ago). With some more vocal prep and coaching, her next solo album can be something that will sit comfortably next to the rest of her prodigious catalog.

@@JJONNYREPP Well, Robert Brian, her drummer, stated that, in all honesty, they could've performed at The Troxy for another 2 nights, and added more material to the set list. The two nights sold out inside of an hour.

I think the joke and novelty has worn off in that sense. I have never been into TROXY, merely walked passed it. as for it being suggested the band could do 4 nights and sell it out. I am sure it could... a larger venue doesn't mean better quality entertainment. stadia are the preserve of comedians, anyhow. stop being defensive... there have been worse deformations....erm... reformations.

the last time I have seen Siouxsie was in Amsterdam the Mataray and more tour , I was far too early waiting for the doors to open of the '' Milky Way '' when all of a sudden this tall very slim bird dressed in a tight black leather skirt and top + cap turned up with 2 othets , it was Siouxsie trying to get in standing next to me she really looked like a model and could smell her perfume which was nice , anyway she went in to get ready to perform , she is such a great performer with her exotic moves and side kicks , the band was fabulous I loved the guitarist and they looked sexy in their outfits , it's such a pity her voice is because of age and abuse of many years on stage ruined she gets out of tune and sounds like she has a bad cold it started with the 7 year itch Banshees come back tour when her voice gave up ! Siousie an icon but has to stop singing live !!

Let's not kid ourselves her voice is shot sadly but slightly better than other recent videos seen. Good set list but im just glad I saw the banshees when they were at their peak.
I've gotta agree. I do adore Siouxsie And the Banshees and I'm not ever gonna shame her (nor any long-performing singer) for continuing to do what they love but there's no doubt that her voice definitely lost it's power that it once had. But that's too be expected because aging so it's understandable. I wish I could've seen them earlier when her voice was still in peak form but at the end of the day, I'm glad she's still rocking and doing what she enjoys and as long as there is an audience for that, it works out. Some of the songs she sings do sound decent.
To be fair, the recording is crap. No wonder people say she sounds dodgy.
