Winged Rhynos, Accumulated Fortune, Green Gadget, Offering to the Doomed, reckless greed, chain beat, RJB0 chain beat deck, funny cool edison deck, gadget edison deck
wdnr here :) was an absolute pleasure collaborating on this with you! it's insane how much more satisfying this deck is to play for me than any other edison list.
also quick guideline for anyone thinking about what other cards to add and test here: the first two questions you should ask yourself are always:
1. does it turn on the opponents dead backrow?
2. does it turn on the opponents dead backrow removal?
(but if the card is strong/important enough you can still justify adding it ofc even if it does those things)
This is a good guideline so I would like to ask: Would [Mei-Kou, Master of Barriers] fit in better than Breaker? I can't imagine breaker wanting to pop anything other than Skill Drain or Royal Decree rn and he dies to Book of Moon, which Mei-Kou would dodge.
Of course I could be wrong on what the problem cards are for the deck, I haven't played it myself yet, just wondering what your thoughts would be for that choice.
That is a sick card I hadn't thought about, it's nice that prio makes self tributing almost immune to backrow. i guess exiled troops should be heavily considered for the same reason.

Very niche ones, body to attack over some stuff, works even vs village of spellcasters uhhh... yeah twister might be the superior card tho having both would also be an option. I guess Twister > Mei-Kou > Breaker @@ElusiveMirror

When I’m playing a deck that is vulnerable to decree I side 1-2 Twisters. Try it out first yourself.
@@FINFLEX88 twister is MUCH better than breaker! I agree completely. It is so nice in this deck because it can save your chain! instead of cleaning up after. AND in a pinch you can chain it and target one of your face up activated traps in order to work up to accumulated. Love twister
I continue to be amazed by the sheer originality of your decks
You see what I love about Edison? The fact you can take all those cards, that are niche and get them to work together to the point where some small tech choices get you to a whole other level of competitiveness. Like who was there putting Winged Rhynos and some Gadgets together and thought: Now we only need 25 traps and the shit goes crazy ? Zuczid you are a true blessing to the Yugioh community!
Don't forget that this is all done using cards more than a decade old. Shows how much potential the game has even without constantly powercreeping
@@marcuswillbrandt5901 I totally agree. I remember when the C hit all of us nd we (two friends of mine and me) basically went full lab mode and tried to solve TOSS and Eternal, reminicent formats with huge potential to become what Edison already is today

Whenever I see these "immune to traps" decks I think there must be a place in there for Elemental Hero Wildheart,
but I think the gadget package is probably better in this deck
I have tried a lot of wildheart in the version that REALLY tries to get value out of rhynos. 3 Blasting Fuse, 3 needle ceiling. These cards are so fun with wildheart and rhynos because they only hurt your opponent. You can even play abyssal kingshark, baby, and if you are truly wild, sand moth
I think Hampster and Ryko will give this trouble. Ryko answers Rhyno and Hampster walls both Rhyno and Gadgets.

he does have the Nocs in the side but ya a well timed ryko or hamster could give it some trouble

There is a potential cursed tech rabbit hole you can go down with Good Goblin Housekeeping.
3x housekeepings and 1x emergency provisions is a draw 12, which ends up a as +5.
you can use scrubbed raid to increase the power of each invidiual housekeepings.
I once built a deck that used it in a Plasma / Relinquished shells so that the scrubbed raid / emergeny provision can also allow you to reuse the plasma / relinquished effect every turn.
Widespread Ruin is a nice, non-targeting alternative to Dimensional Prison.

While I love this, I feel like game 2/3 will be tough if they can put in royal decree and you don’t see breaker, and RYKO HAMSTER kind of bodies you but otherwise it’s hype af
I feel like creature swap can help with the later plus since ryhnos is mandatory it's a plus 1 the moment you have a trap tho it makes ryhnos fodder for tributes
@@sejuwuani5122it’s not mandatory, so if you creature swap it, you just gave your opponent a free monster
decree is truly a BIG problem:'( The side is slightly teched out for the hamsters with the noblemans! also blasting fuse could be good against those beasts as well, as long as you can rely on your opponent t setting! brought the deck to my locals and blasting fuse went so hard. However, now that people know about the fuse I don't think it will ever work again xD
Maybe you can run gaia power? it buffs your gadgets and nerfs hapster's defense so you can run it over. You do still have to deal with ryko though, but thats true for most any deck. You could also consider maybe forbidden chalice, which can also help you run over larger threats like cydra in addition to negating hampster
Maybe the ryko caius problem could be solved by swapping the gadgets with e koa'ki meiru package. Just 3 urkight 1/2 crusader and the rock one

taking a temporary break but will hopefully resume sometime soon! The series is a ton of fun and I love Karpath, but trying to manage cursed tech, schoolwork, and the series all at the same time was stretching me pretty thin! Sorry for making you wait and I will be sure to update if there are any developments!

Chain Beat do be fun
I'm trying so hard to think of a card to add to this deck that synergises with the game plan but that will help close out games a bit quicker. I've been playing loads of this deck since you released the video, I adore it. But while it generates a tonne of card advantage and is very fun, I finish so many games by either decking myself out or my opponent chips away at my life points and kills me when I'm up 5 cards to 1 on them or something. It just needs a bit more oomf

Well done! what an amazing deck and it looks strong too. it's nice to see this type of deck perhaps catching on in the meta. One problem I seemed to see though is the Rykos... and LS in general. Ryko and celestia, and maybe jd too, but more frequently the other 2 can be a problem. attacking inside a ryko and having no more monsters is difficult. and i have no idea how to deal with it
another deck that i would like to try and bild is.. URIA. i saw a cool list, i dont know what cards he was playing, on the karpath channel and same format. "what are they cooking". it would be cool to build that deck, see it in ur channel, and maybe make it "strong?" :D
The gadgets are bad into hamster but not too bad into the rykos! rykoing a gadget feels pretty bad. and celestia is not too bad into rhynos because if you have any trap to chain, you can remove the celestia and the rhynos can dodge. JD is a problem, but I think JD is always a problem haha that card is crazy!
And I did see that Uria list! Such a funny concept! maybe I will have to look into it!
Mixing it with Hero beat core or Spirit monsters might be fun.
why not just play a split of offerings and smashing ground?
I went from 3 smashing. To 2 and 2. and then to three offerings probably because I just wanted to play a deck that used offerings haha. But spiting them is probably a good idea! removal that doesn't loose to decree is very good for the deck
I personally don't like the gadgets, but with the way this was built it's so easy to swap out 14+ cards easily to try out different things. Gadgets are 6 slots, offerings+bottomless+d prison are good but not chainable traps.
I'm going to try out maybe raigeki break and karma cut instead, but really you could try out so much with that kind of space.
The RJB0 has a whole series about chain beat in 2013 and it is so fun because there are like 7 different versions! I think depending on the meta and what synergies you want to lean into, you could definitely take the rhynos concept in many different directions! Good luck!:)

Shield crush could be sick haha. Those 2k walls are a HUGE problem haha. I love the idea:)

same thought here, synergizes with everything you are doing. Also something like scrubbed raid is worth looking into. You can get extra value on good goblin housekeeping or any of the chainable
It could be good! I think there are a few decent directions you could go with the rhyos chain beat! With this gorz trag version I think it is strong to be able to clear your own field. Rhynos tempo loss can be mitigated by the battle hand traps so that is why I didn't play any traps that stick around
scrubbed raid good goblin is kinda crazy oh my god That could definitely be something to look into! Especially because you leave your field open so this combo would stop you from dying@@Frogslicer

My personal opinion. I'd replace the 3 good goblins
with
1 pot 2 cydra main.
Like 2k defenders and facedowns wall out the entire deck. Hydra clears a lot and can put an actual clock on. Also action economy when your normal is being used every turn is still important.
Cydra is less good with the gadgets, you can't have cydra and gadgets on the field unfortunately

How do you feel about main deck heavy? Like you said its an easy way to start the chain and no one will see it coming when you set 3 on the first turn, they will just full set too
I do like it! But because the frog match up has been pretty tough with the 2k dupe walls I decided to side it to have one less dead card. But honestly it is very powerful in this deck and if I see any traps I almost always side it in!

In Edison it targets
my concern is you can generate card advantage but how are you gonna convert that into a win with this deck, they can place a wall on the board and you'd deck out before winning

edit: you mention that! I wonder how well this deck plays against fairies. Specifically, how does rynos interact with orange light?
I think fairies are very deck so you will have to outgrind them! It is in no way easy though. Orange light could be a problem but I like that all the normal summons do the exact same thing. If they spend the orange light on a gadget or rhynos, hopefully you have another one in hand that can get the ball rolling again. And if so they had to use 2 cards for one of yours. Also I like the krystia no ss does nothing against the deck and the fairy deck relies on the battle phase for removal, (honest/warrior lady) so maybe the 3 prisons and traps will help! But honestly, against every meta deck, there are no free match ups, its just that cards like krystia don't just stop you from playing in the same way it does to other decks!

Not to constantly be on the hero gaming brain but unlike the gadgets who are EFFECTIVELY immune to traps because they replace themselves, wild heart is ACTUALLY immune to traps and gettable off of Stratos. I see like, a big city version of this deck going so hard....

Only misplay I saw was the gorz token you put into attack mode, should've kept it in defense. No reason to rush with a small 800 attack. Better for chump blocking.

You don't need gadgets! the Gravekeeper engine works really well too! Also just 4-6 extra stun cards like t king/dyna are also very decent!

My style of play is to keep at least (1) win condition. This deck - while good - needs something that makes to the win. Pretty much you win by make your opponent surrender (which is not bad, though).
I would like to try if with Exodia, this deck might have some chances.
