I think Thant Zin has a lot of potential. But the second round tell the difference between world class level and kickboxing debut level. Thant Zin is naturally tough and has KO power because of his background in "Lethwei". You can also see it in his two of his Muaythai matches. No matter how much Thant Zin is tough, the experience and game plans that Takeru brought into the ring defeat the youngster. But in the next few years, I guess that kid will reach to the top level.
I agree, Takeru really really turned it up in round 2. So many different looks and so much aggression. Definitely a fight that Thant Zin will learn a lot from
takeru was too gun shy early on. thats not when hes at his best. r2 was a masterclass from him tho. thant zin managed to catch him off guard bcos of how unorthodox he is. this was the first rodtang style opponent takeru ever had. chatri said takeru vs rodtang only happens if takeru wins (which he did) and rodtang beats smith
Takeru typically has a slow start so that's not too surprising. but the knock down was a wee bit too much. could have lost him the match if Thant zin kept his distance and hold on to the lead, like how tenshin did.
@@ZRyuKageZ yea but thats not thant zin's style and never was. he cant cut angles properly and stay away for long. takeru would hv inevitably backed him into a corner and knocked him sparks out. he aint no superlek and takeru even came close to finishing him

It was a long layoff as well and coming back from an injury. I had a feeling he was going to start slow

good Job Thant Zin
Clearly understand that Muay Thai is totally better than Myanmar Lethwei 😊
It's just a perspective from point of view, bro. But ,one thing you can't deny is that Lethwai is more brutal than Muay period.
It is also short notice for thant zin and his first kb match against super star, so yeah he is gonna lose.
Yea and he still had a lot of success
