Hooray, a Zoomer comment. So record sales are an indication of talent? She’s got a great voice, but she can’t touch some of the female soul, funk and r&b singers. I love it when people think their generation is the best. I’m Gen Y and I don’t even make that argument about my generation. I just know everything from 2001 until now has been garbage compared to what came before. On this show, if you had a squeaky clean blonde who could sing, they had a great chance of winning. She’s got a good voice, but she’s not the best I’ve ever heard. Trusting Americans to recognize talent is silly anyway.
