I absolutely love Lauren, her voice, her personality, her songs that she writes and sangs, that's not a typo, she don't sing, she sangs, she's pretty as can be and she's the real deal, just like Trisha Yearwood said. This video had my eyes welling up with tears, it was such a touching moment, I've loved Lauren's voice from the first time I saw her on AI. Congrats to her and a side note, I love her song "It Was Me" (which I related to and fell in love with the very first time I heard it) so much that it was the song I've listened to the most in 2021, like over 800 times.
This is amazing she is truly an amazing entertainer and actor as well with a couple hallmark movies under her belt to see her become a member of the opry is something she totally deserves

Congratulations Lauren. I do believe you should have won American Idol, in 2011, on the 10th season of American idol, you lost to another country singer, you had far better vocals.
How do you know he wasn't asked? Maybe he said no! Not every singer can accept. There is a requirement that they perform a certain number of times every year at the Opry. Some artists are just not able to commit to that.
No disrespect but the fact that Lauren Alaina is a member of the Grand Ole Opry after appearing 50 times and Elizabeth Cook is not even though She has made over 400 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry since her debut on March 17, 2000, is undeniable empirical evidence that The Grand Ole Opry has jumped the shark just like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This Country and Country music is falling apart at the seams. 😠💔🖕

Trisha is so awesome but she’s a millionaire she can afford weight loss surgery & personal chef and personal trainer she’s gotta loose 80 to 100 pounds and take her health seriously 😐
