Thanks!!! Same principle worked on Volvo V60 10-15 model. I was worried to break anything off but became confident when you said to pull gently on both sides and it came loose unexpectedly quick.
Thanks for the video, service mode and replacement procedure. 2017 V60 T5 USA My wife’s car. One comment would be before installing the new wipers, clean the front and rear windows and apply Rain-X. If it’s too cold out, Rain-x makes a 2 in 1 window cleaner that cleans and applies Rain-x. Also, before I install new wipers I wipe them down on a micro fiber cloth with Rain X. You would be surprised how black the cloth gets from that I would not recommend Rain-x washer fluid.
Thank you very helpful especially for the rear wiper. Your instruction probably prevented breaking it upon removal. Also I never knew about service mode for the front. Great for snowy nights as well
Great content and superb editing as always Yuri. You covered how to put the wipers into the service position in another of your videos, a while ago. Hidden features. But always good to see it again. Great work Yuri
Just done mine on V40 Cross country and it was easy to follow your instructions. Great job putting the video. Also, quite right about pricing as Bosh were £10 less but I went for genuine one set costed me £43.
My 2003 XC-90 T6 has the old style wiper from Volvo. I have always used Volvo replacement blades with good results. I have seen that i can convert to the newer style. I would love to know your mind on making the switch. I also want to thank you for your time and hard work on "volvosweden"! Oh!, and by the way if you hit headlight sprayer by mistake. I have seen someone drop their bag of food at the grocery store and run away. They are not to be taken lightly.
@volvosweden I love all your videos! Spring time is here and I will be following a lot of your videos to do some maintenance on my ‘08. Question: Is there any way possible to temporarily deactivate the headlight washers? Most times it’s not necessary to use and I’d prefer to use the fluid on my windshield alone, and not have washer fluid sprayed all over my hood and front bumper. Is there a trick to spraying ONLY the windshield that I haven’t learned yet?
@@volvosweden ruclips.net/video/f5iMIf9X0yw/видео.html Here they can check the oil level in the dashboard. Is there similar way to check the temperature? Ore is there any way how to check the engine temperature? Speabikng of S80 2007 D5 model.
I bought non oem wipers for my 2008 xc90 & they are different from the the wipers on there and will not mount. I confirmed part # was correct . I tried Bosch & Michelin brands of wiper. None will fit. I presume the wipers on their are oem but not certain. ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS HAPPEN?....ANYONE? ANYONE?... BUELLER.. BUELLER.. BUELLER..

@@nomad5176 why do you like the Bosch Aero Twin? I picked up some Bosch Icons yesterday. They’re just fuckin wipers and I’m trying not to over think it, but, that’s just what I do lol. Especially when it comes to my XC70, I want to take great care of it so I overthink everything and want to get the best parts.

Never changed my rear one before. I was worried I’d break it getting it off, but now I feel confident! Thank you!
Very simple, when you KNOW what you're doing ! Thank you sir ! A picture is worth a thousand words.

Thx! It would be odd if I would not show in this vidoe how to put into service.
Nice work! First time seeing how it sprays the headlights!!
All those cars driving through rain was a great thought out intro for this video. Well done!
Worked like a charm on my XC60 T6 2009! Thanks from Brazil!! 👍
You can't beat using fresh wiper blades!

Your videos are great! If you ever come to Ontario, make sure to say hello.

Amazing thanks for doing this video I’ve been waiting for one!! I have same T6 Xc70 and man I’ve done everything you have done to yours! 😜
Another great video! I'd never seen the headlight washers in action, either. 😊
What a coincidence... I just did this today on my 09 XC70! 👍
me to, replaced mine this friday :D
I love your Volvo, the big brother of my V50. My next car will be either a V70 or XC70 👍
Good job, excellent video!
Thank you, that was great and helpful

I have two Volvos and will never buy aftermarket wipers again. I prefer the low profile and simple installation.
Спасибо большое за помощь👍
You need Rdesign blue speedometer circles. I did it by myself and it looks realy good :)
Where did you get it? I wish.

Nice license tag!
Main dealer wipers £30, Ebay £8.99, exactly the same wipers and so easy to fit.
Great video man!
Hi! Do these procedures apply to the 2nd generation XC90 as well?
Very nice document video. Thank you!!
One more subscribed!!
Thanks 👍🏼
Lovely intro...lovely car shots! Nice. Did you consider other brands at all? What did you pay. I saw the Polestar badge is now placed...nice.
I did look for some aftermarket wipers and the price was very close to original. 70Cad for front and like 20$ for rear. Polestar badge is ON!

Makes such a difference doesn't it.
Can you see the engine temperature somewhere in the dashboard?
Nope. There is no gauge

Any tips on cleaning wiper blades?
Never did. But could use microfiber towel and window cleaner.
@@volvosweden Thanks, I used rubbing alcohol gently on a microfibre cloth and it seemed effective.
How do you activate the rear washer ?!
Push the stalk in the opposite direction that you use for the front spray to activate the rear.

Я задний дворник с аллиэкспресс выписал, а лобовые с подогревом поставил
Thank you , it's a great helpful for a woman ☺️
