Yesss!!! I agree! Those side conversations r distracting. I have had 2 stop that 2. I tell them we need to show "what quiet looks like and sounds like -- not a sound." Turn on those "listening ears".
As I teacher I totally feel you on closing up the book mid sentence I'm not going to be up here reading my voice raw while yall just talk over me. Also, kids pulling answers out the sky when you've been over referring to the text a million times, phew, so frustrating! Sometimes, they just don't care to think! Phew! I love all your videos and look forward to Saturday! I teach 3rd in North Carolina. 😊
I don’t see computers for the students in the classroom. Do you have a laptop cart? I hear you talking about AR and IXL, so I was just wondering how you incorporate them.

Yes, we have Chromebooks for each student and have a Chromebook charging station in the classroom
