Remember, always use brushes to save time. Its not cheating, like how using a toothbrush for splatter isnt cheating
similarly, real life artists can just use glue and actual glitter for that glitter brush part lol

The jewelry is actually quite good, I just think the chain could be worked on a lil bit in terms of like the physics of how it would sit/rest on the collarbone. It looks really good overall tho :D

I was feeling super awful about my art because I struggle with circles and jewelry and stuff like that but the fact that you struggle with it as well gives me confidence that i can still somewhat call myself an artist.
Also I love that you don't act all pretentious about "cheating" like some artists do, like we should just use what we can for efficiency

This honestly seems like a really good drawing exercise. Like, finally have motivation to draw but no ideas? Just look up some drawings, or look at some of your old drawings and just kinda redesign it how you would draw it present day! :D

I never use CSP, and i never knew that it has tons of useful custom brush (chain brush is the most mindblowing i think)

i feel like i know what to do except for how to go about using layers. no artist ever explains what layer to do what things on. like do you paint shadows on the same layer? how many layers should you use? nobody ever talks about it and it's my biggest struggle
it really just depends on your preference, personally i use 3-4 layers (as little as possible tbh). people use it for organization, to play safe, etc. feel free to experiment :] but don't use too much lmaoo that shit a headache
