U should of put a sound box with 4 prv 10" speaker with tweeters and drivers the sound quality is good and loud they are also strong with Banda amps or taramps
Add red LED LIGHTS in the back with the speakers
These should get a dedicated amp, I wouldn't stress your stock amp they already struggle/ don't have very good power.
I love how you think just completely out of the box. Like wet sounds in a Tahoe on a custom mount out of some pipe from Home Depot, powdered cherry to match everything else just so sick & so unique I love it! And good call feeding the wire through the pipe, keeping it clean af! I know im a little late lol catching up now that I have the time again. Can’t wait to see what’s going on with the Banana ram!
Dude you have to be careful when adding speakers to factory head unit without putting an amp in!!! First of all these speakers are 200 watts not 300. They are 300 watts PEAK which is all BS. But 200 watts RMS or what they are able to handle actually is still pretty good. When tapping into your rear speakers is when a problem can happen. These are 4 ohm speakers and their impedance depends on how you wire them. If wired in parallel the resistance or impedance will be cut in half. So now the speaker is 2 ohms which gives them more power but this can cause a fire if the wiring and radio can’t handle that low of resistance. If wired in series the ohms double. I don’t know exactly how you wired the speakers but be CAREFUL!! I really think you should get a 4 channel amp just for those added speakers. With the factory radio each speaker is only getting around 10 watts each. Those speakers you added you can apply up to 200 watts to each of them. My advice, leave the original speakers connected to radio and don’t connect new speakers to it. Get a 4 channel amp that can give you 100-200 watts rms not peak to each speaker and use it for just the new speakers. Remember to look on how many ohms the amp can handle. Most 4 channels can handle 2 ohms but not 1 ohm. Please consider this for safety!!!!!

My exact thought I have actual wet sounds speakers in my jeep and on my families boat and it makes me cringe every time he calls them Wet sounds and not just “tower speakers”

I have two of those in the bed of my truck will be adding 2 more and moving them under the truck tucked where the spare was but you definitely want a amp on them I have them switched so I can turn them on and off as I please

Sweet setup! You could also run 4 x 6.5s on top (and use those 4 on the Ram) and still have more than enough volume.

So dope bro I am the quality insurance inspector at Bentley pontoons high end boats and we install wetsound speakers in our 70 to 80,000$ elite boats sometimes our fish boats and sometimes our admirals and bro they hittttttt soooooo hard and loud and we have Amps connected to them as well also we have tower wetsounds as well so I believe ima install some in my vehicle as well plus I get employee discount on them too 💪🏾
Without an amp 4 seem pointless to me I doubt there would be much of a difference if there was only 2

You should put 2 facing up on the sides and 2 facing down in the middle ? I mean if it fits and like that it doesn’t really block the view
My dream sound system is surround sound where if you blast the music you can’t hear anything and your car is shaking more than it should but the music is still hearable
And also to have room in the vehicle to actually use it
The acoustics on tower speakers are meant to throw sound a long distance, I can’t for the life of me figure out what good they would do in the back of an SUV. Even if you intended for them to be like a tailgating thing(the only real option) the speakers are still designed to throw the sound really far away, they are not normal speakers, they have an intentional purpose, unless you’re hanging out about 50 feet away from your vehicle I don’t understand why put those in.. I get they’re inexpensive, they’re also just impractical. I’m 2 mins into the video and I know by the end you’ll talk about how good they sound, but I just find that incredibly hard to believe. Not hating, I think they look cool and it’s a cool project, just very impractical in my eyes.
Nothing about this build screams audiophile to me, nothing about this is done "correctly" if he wanted truly concert quality imo best thing is replacing all with ipad dash kit into digital audio converter to your amps then for speakers relocate tweeter to aiming towards face and aftermarket car audio speakers of choice then for subs I always do a 6th order bandpass for equal hz across the sound spectrum
U might get noise having the RCA's zip tied to the power cables
Why not switch out the side posts for ones that are shorter? This way you could mount the speakers on the upside and have them face out the window as you originally wanted, plus you would gain more room to move the brackets further part and I'd be willing to bet all 8's would fit. And remember, measure once, cut twice!

You should have test fit before the powder coating because you could cut and weld that so is goes back at an angle and if you just needed it shorter The Home Depot has a pipe threader right there at least our store does and it's supposed to be like the second smallest store in either the us or texas

Also might I recommend cutting the side bars and just moving the speakers on the top of the bar so you can open the back glass if you want

Nice set up. Definitely remove the fourth speaker. Get an amp for the wake board speakers. You already have hi level input for signal in the rear so just run the power. Make nice little amp rack.

Hey Ryan, those speakers aren’t upside down. That’s actually how they hook up to the bars. That’s how my wet sounds work on my Supra wake boat. Ur good man.
how on earth are you getting a 12" to fit behind the 3rd row seat in a tahoe? mine has about 6inches of space behind the seat?? is that a suburban ? or are the 3rd row seats straight up and down instead of leaned back?

Do u recommend 2 smaller tube subs for a crew cab silverado. I want my bass to be equally distributed. So i figured to smaller subs to fit under seat. Suggestions from anyone please

You could fit them if you face two inside the Tahoe and two facing the back
Get shorter side pipes to where the pipe is just above the sub and then you could put the speakers on top and fit all 4
