24:10 I expected the remake to have the grapple gun scenes to look this cool and realistic. Regardless im very impressed by the amount of details that little scene as ps2 and game cube was so limited in graphics. I will say the remake did a better job use of the grapple gun and Ada using it against el gigante made it look cooler. Tho OG Sadler laughing as he turned to face Ada and the menacing soundtrack is much scarier and more impactful than the remake saddler fight (not to mention soundtrack is the same as Leon’s final battle against him)
While the remake's version of Ada's boss fight with Saddler was fun, what I liked from the original was the cold and isolated atmosphere where when youplay as Ada you feel like you're stuck in there with Saddler. Saddler doesn't say much and mostly walks towards you creepily which to me was more effective. But hey I still enjoyed the remake.

I love Sally Cahill more but I'll be honest, Lily Gao improved in the DLC. Now, while her voice isn't everyone's cup of tea, I don't hate it as much when I heard it in the base game. I do hope Lily can still improve and I don't wanna send hate, but just fair criticism. Also, this is just my opinion, but when I compare Lily's voice to Sally, Lily's feel like Ada was trying to sound more "realistic" cause some think the seductive voice Sally gave was to make Ada more fantastical. Its like a case of reality vs. fantasy. Like compare Saddler's tone and mannerisms to the OG's cartoon villain and remake's more menacing cult leader. But I love both. Krauser on the other hand, I like both voices but I prefer the OG cause while the remake still sounds menacing, remake Krauser kinda sounds like he's trying to have a Batman voice. But I would like to know everyone's thoughts.

I am breaking my silence because Lily's cult is making it harder for me to express my opinions and thoughts about Ada's RE4R voice. I DO NOT HATE LILY and I respect her but the reason I prefer Sally and Courtenay is because og Ada is more than "just talking seductively" because she's more than that. I fell in love with her character because who tf talks and dresses like her given the current situation she's in?? (you can include Jessica Sherwat too but she's different than Ada) and RE4R Ada fanatics keeps on saying she's more "human now" ? og Ada has more depth than RE4R Ada because I interpret her way of talking and acting as her putting up barriers/walls to hide the true Ada Wong, that her true self is this scarred individual who is deeply conflicted especially after her meeting with Leon since RE2. OG still is quite the spectacle to watch. New one isn’t that bad after watching it a few more times. I’ve come to terms. I’ve enjoyed both. Remakes flushes a few things extra but also plays homage to the og by giving us missing gameplay from the initial remake launch and managed to do it rather nicely . Yes the voice is pretty …eh. But like I said earlier …It’s grown on me. OG voice is still 10 times fire though. What I didn’t like is Ada requiring more help. I’ve seen ppl say ada needs help in the og. Please remember this….if ada didn’t bother helping leon out and focused more on her own goals…Leon and Ashley would’ve been dead but possibly Luis would’ve been saved . However Ada kept going out of her way to make sure leon was safe and in exchange was a distraction to saddler and his peeps. Gotta admit she was more of a badass in the original. Remake still is even though her grapple is more Batman than ever . Still…I think we all wanted to see more of her gameplay using her grapple more since it already was playing around batman ish physics .

How was remake ada better? A Ada do remake é mt mais humama e realista, ela é uma agente secreta, não deve agir de forma "sedutora" ou ser uma femme fatale enquanto trabalha, perde a personalidade e a essência que uma agente secreta deve ter, vi gente aqui nos comentários dizendo que ela no remake não é expressiva, eu sinceramente penso o contrário, pra mim a Ada do original que não é expressiva, parecia um robô, ela nem parecia ter sentimentos exceto quando se tratava de Leon e olha lá, porque a única demonstração de sentimento que ela mostrava sobre Leon era no máximo uma expressão facial e uma atitude, mas que não parecia realista, ela estava sempre séria e apenas dizendo o básico, no remake conseguiram deixar ela mais expressiva, ela se mostra mais humana, mostra que tem sentimentos, opiniões e até personalidade, não via necessidade nenhuma de pôr ela como uma personagem super atraente o tempo todo, tudo parecia girar em torno de sua aparência e sedução (num momento que não fazia o menor sentido ela agir assim), e parecia que esse era seu único traço de personalidade, nem parecia que ela estava trabalhando. Assim como a Ahsley, ela agora no remake age de forma mais aceitável considerando a situação que estão, suas personalidades combinam muito mais com elas e trás muito mais carisma para ambas.
No começo eu odiei essa nova ada e o novo leon. Depois que tive contato com os dois, jogando o jogo, percebi que essa mudança os torna bem mais realistas. Tanto o leon traumatizado com tudo, quanto ada tendo essa nova personalidade mais "humana"
Oi? Mas a personagem sempre foi assim. E outra ela sempre manteve o lado mais sedutor com o Leon para entrar nas boas graças dele e conseguir distraí-lo. No jogo original ela não ficava flertando com Krauser e Saddler, muito pelo contrário. É o cerne da personagem, ela é a Bond Girl pro James Bond do Leon. O problema do remake é que a personagem não tem personalidade, eles tiraram boa parte do humor da historia. A Ada original era fria, mas tinha um senso de humor e bastante personalidade, essa do remake é muito estoica e sem vida. O melhor do remake é o Separate Ways e os gráficos, mas ficou devendo muito na história.
A Ashley é melhor no remake pq a personagem dela ficou mais balanceada e menos infantil, ela é menos irritante, mas a Ada é inferior. O distanciamento da personagem é muito exarcebado, no original ela mantém certa distância de Leon, mas tem um troca mais amigável com ele.
O Leon do remake também sofre com a abordagem do jogo, novamente puxam ele mais pro sério pra ser "realista", o senso de humor é mais apagado e logo o personagem soa mais genérico.

Man, it's been a long time I haven't seen or play og separate ways. Now I just realized how lifeless it was 😂. The acting and voice were flat, the story pacing was insane. But I still love Ada no matter what game she's in

I am breaking my silence because Lily's cult is making it harder for me to express my opinions and thoughts about Ada's RE4R voice. I DO NOT HATE LILY and I respect her but the reason I prefer Sally and Courtenay is because og Ada is more than "just talking seductively" because she's more than that. I fell in love with her character because who tf talks and dresses like her given the current situation she's in?? (you can include Jessica Sherwat too but she's different than Ada) and RE4R Ada fanatics keeps on saying she's more "human now" ? og Ada has more depth than RE4R Ada because I interpret her way of talking and acting as her putting up barriers/walls to hide the true Ada Wong, that her true self is this scarred individual who is deeply conflicted especially after her meeting with Leon since RE2. Her speaking in a monotone voice in RE4R feels so hollow and yes she sounds more "Asian" now but that's not the point. Unfortunately, her old charm and mystique is just gone now (like 90%). Her old tone also makes you wonder whether she is a good or bad character, and it is super interesting. 🦋
You can hear some of the old Ada in the S.W REmake and it's baffling why the VA director didn't direct her consistently because she has potential tbh. Lily is talented but she isn't for Ada Wong~ I'd prefer she voice another RE character because I don't need a "human Ada" when we already have Jill and Claire as your "human charactes". OG RE4 and RE6 Ada will always be my most favorite versions of herself and I really wish they keep Courtenay for old Ada. 🤞🏻❣

Original Wesker was more cold, detached and always reminded Ada who was in charge and had Krauser working for him just in case Ada betrayed him and whem Ada told him he was dead he sent another team to get his mutated corpse just so he could get the plagas even if Ada betrayed him.

OG still is quite the spectacle to watch. New one isn’t that bad after watching it a few more times. I’ve come to terms. I’ve enjoyed both. Remakes flushes a few things extra but also plays homage to the og by giving us missing gameplay from the initial remake launch and managed to do it rather nicely . Yes the voice is pretty …eh. But like I said earlier …It’s grown on me. OG voice is still 10 times fire though. What I didn’t like is Ada requiring more help. I’ve seen ppl say ada needs help in the og. Please remember this….if ada didn’t bother helping leon out and focused more on her own goals…Leon and Ashley would’ve been dead but possibly Luis would’ve been saved . However Ada kept going out of her way to make sure leon was safe and in exchange was a distraction to saddler and his peeps. Gotta admit she was more of a badass in the original. Remake still is even though her grapple is more Batman than ever . Still…I think we all wanted to see more of her gameplay using her grapple more since it already was playing around batman ish physics .

Lily gao’s horrid masterpiece of her voice acting almost bleeding my ears. I had to turn off the sound during my gameplay haha. Never knew some annoying voice tone could affect my enjoyment of its gameplay.

Old ada was smarter since she wasn't really working with wesker because she knew him way too well and knew he was up to no good, plus her character had more charm from the way she dressed and talked and mystery about her. A Ada do remake é mt mais humama e realista, ela é uma agente secreta, não deve agir de forma "sedutora" ou ser uma femme fatale enquanto trabalha, perde a personalidade e a essência que uma agente secreta deve ter, vi gente aqui nos comentários dizendo que ela no remake não é expressiva, eu sinceramente penso o contrário, pra mim a Ada do original que não é expressiva, parecia um robô, ela nem parecia ter sentimentos exceto quando se tratava de Leon e olha lá, porque a única demonstração de sentimento que ela mostrava sobre Leon era no máximo uma expressão facial e uma atitude, mas que não parecia realista, ela estava sempre séria e apenas dizendo o básico, no remake conseguiram deixar ela mais expressiva, ela se mostra mais humana, mostra que tem sentimentos, opiniões e até personalidade, não via necessidade nenhuma de pôr ela como uma personagem super atraente o tempo todo, tudo parecia girar em torno de sua aparência e sedução (num momento que não fazia o menor sentido ela agir assim), e parecia que esse era seu único traço de personalidade, nem parecia que ela estava trabalhando.
Assim como a Ahsley, ela agora no remake age de forma mais aceitável considerando a situação que estão, suas personalidades combinam muito mais com elas e trás muito mais carisma para ambas.
No começo eu odiei essa nova ada e o novo leon.
Depois que tive contato com os dois, jogando o jogo, percebi que essa mudança os torna bem mais realistas. Tanto o leon traumatizado com tudo, quanto ada tendo essa nova personalidade mais "humana"
Oi? Mas a personagem sempre foi assim. E outra ela sempre manteve o lado mais sedutor com o Leon para entrar nas boas graças dele e conseguir distraí-lo. No jogo original ela não ficava flertando com Krauser e Saddler, muito pelo contrário. É o cerne da personagem, ela é a Bond Girl pro James Bond do Leon. O problema do remake é que a personagem não tem personalidade, eles tiraram boa parte do humor da historia. A Ada original era fria, mas tinha um senso de humor e bastante personalidade, essa do remake é muito estoica e sem vida.
O melhor do remake é o Separate Ways e os gráficos, mas ficou devendo muito na história.
A Ashley é melhor no remake pq a personagem dela ficou mais balanceada e menos infantil, ela é menos irritante, mas a Ada é inferior. O distanciamento da personagem é muito exarcebado, no original ela mantém certa distância de Leon, mas tem um troca mais amigável com ele.
O Leon do remake também sofre com a abordagem do jogo, novamente puxam ele mais pro sério pra ser "realista", o senso de humor é mais apagado e logo o personagem soa mais genérico.
Falou tudo.A Ada do Remake ficou mais humana e isso foi um belo acerto,a Lily fez um excelente trabalho e espero que a chamem de novo

@@herdiansyah9982 Nah i'm not the one being delusional. The game's acting was more than fine for it's time. Hell i'd argue that the likes of Wesker had better dialogue in the original than the remake. Also some of the dialogue between Leon and Ada is better in the original too.
In the remake, Ada seemed more incompetent than the OG. She kept getting trashed talked by Wesker. In OG Wesker complimented on how she was 'Punctual', but in remake Wesker keep telling her to stop wasting time. And she even asked if Wesker is staying over to 'Back her up', like nooo OG Ada doesn't need backup bro. The remakes keep making Ada incompetent. Wesker even had to come on ground to pull her shit. She also seems like she kept getting push around by situations, but OG Ada has strong control of situations just being in the background, she was able to do her work and help Leon at the same time.
It makes Ada more human in the remake, the show she’s not perfect. But pretty damn close to it.
