I was at this show! STARZ was a great 70's high energy rock band. Singer Michael Lee Smith had talent and charisma, but the original band lasted for four albums then called it quits.

I don’t know if their record company did a bad job of promoting them, but this band should have been absolutely huge!

      Same management company as Kiss.
      Aucoin I believe.
They were big up north (I was in Louisville when I saw them in 1978), but mostly unknown elsewhere.

Saw them about this time. I think they opened for Ted, and maybe Aldo Nova?

Mahogany Rush. For your Love off of their 8th LP? They never released it as a single. Nugent crawled out of the wreckage after several :P's with the
Amboy Dukes. I saw ted at his best...opening for Aerosmith in 75. Believe it or not Ted stood in 1 spot and played. Bob segar....same thing...trudged the boards for years. I can definitely see and hear how other bands took bits and pieces from their titles and vocals. They had a great rockin' pop groove throughout this. Live Wire...uh Motley. I love the title Do it With the Lights On. If she's a looker, for sure.
