    Awesome! Thanks for putting together another video to share here. I just started listening/watching it and will be doing so throughout the afternoon. I appreciate your effort & time! All the songs are excellent! "Half The World" is an excellent choice! I loved that tour/CD and song!

    I saw the Clockwork Angels tour and it was a big surprise to hear Grand Designs. One of my favorite Rush deep tracks. Also got to photograph the show. Being right at the stage I could hear Neil's snare. It was so cool.

      That tour had a lot of great deep tracks played like that one. Just a really unique and cool setlist all around.

    Love this band but when I hear them it gives me chills to think that we will never hear Neil play the drums ever again. RIP Neil hope you have got your drums up there with you.

    Got a good cover band on my channel, just not very much rush at all maybe one song and it's not really very good

      I love half the world. One of the rush songs I know how to play on bass. I feel you there, I only know a handful of songs on bass and it’s all either easy rush songs or easy other songs 😂

    I really like the band Rush, but here Gadi Lee is a bad singer, The sound of the bass is not right, bass should be soft and not stiff.

    • @PeterCharlton-qc1pd
      @PeterCharlton-qc1pd 9 месяцев назад +5

      Don't you mean Geddy Lee. If you're going to comment on this at least spell the man's name properly.

    • @TABIBI-OP
      @TABIBI-OP 9 месяцев назад

      @@PeterCharlton-qc1pd No! The origin of the name is in the Torah, Gadi Lee is Jewish, the son of Holocaust survivors. So the name is Gadi or Gad

      @@TABIBI-OP Though his parents were holocaust survivors, that's not the origin of his name. His birth name was Gary Lee Weinrib, but his mother's polish accent resulted in the "ar" sounding like a "ed", hence "Geddy". His friend's started calling him that, he adopted it as a stage name, and eventually he legally changed his name to Geddy Lee Weinrib

      Liking the band but saying he's a bad singer certainly is a hot take...he might not be everyone's cup of tea especially in the earlier years with how high he sang but he's by no means a bad singer. Also bass (or any instrument) can be whatever tonality suits the song. "Bass should be soft" doesn't make any sense. Would his tone work in a jazz context? Probably not, but neither would a soft touched bass player playing flatwounds in a Rush song. It's all about context/band/song/genre/production style.
