You have to really appreciate how strong Neil was -to write such physically demanding pieces in your 20's and commit and succeed at playing them well into your 60's at the same level is amazing. He gave us everything.
I love Rush nearly 40 years now and Geddy aged with his voice very well! Alex incredible guitarist and our dear late Professor, simply untouchable. Songs for decades!
I love watching stuff like this compared to the released DVD because of Neil's progression throughout the tour. Nothing is ever played the same twice, and that's pretty awesome. Especially in the solos.
Greetings from Texas, l saw RUSH only twice. First on the Hemispheres tour with April Wine opening for their Roller album tour. That was in Houston, where l am from. The second time was on the Power Windows tour in Dallas,no opening act, they played over two hours. Both shows were great, the first time they played the more obscure songs like By-Tor,A passage to Bangkok,ln the End among others. Now on Power Windows, when the house lights went down, the original theme music from The Three Stooges came on the P.A.system before the guys started jamming. I thought that this was so cool that they would let people know that they were down to earth like everyone else, and different consider themselves rockstars or better than the audience. Then had huge projection screens hanging above the drum riser so the crowd could have a perfect view. I have been to a lot of concerts and it would rank in the top five. So long from ZZTOP Land...
Greeting form Brazil!!!! I can't get enough of listening to this wonderful band!!! I missed their concert in Brazil, but I have the songs in my jump drive and listen all the time in my car!!!!
Kiss had the audacity to claim at the start of every gig "You wanted the best, you've got the best", but Rush never needed such bs claims, because they really were the ultimate and the very best.

I saw this tour at Lakewood Amphitheater, Atlanta, GA. I'm sure Rush sounded incredible in a 'hall' environment. That would be like them playing our Fox Theatre which the acoustics in there are amazing.
They amazing. I mean come on, look Alex playing the guitar... and Getty, Awe Man, And Neil.... Wow. I so much love them guys... they are awesome, the spirit of their way of truth.

OK Snowdog, after seeing this I feel it is appropriate for me to kneel down and kiss your paw. Fantastic set of uploads from one the worlds greatest venues. Oh and I do not hear Rush screaming in anguish because more bootlegs made it onto RUclips. You gotta love those guys, they have real class.Appreciate the share, and I mean Bigtime. And by the way, is it just me or does Alex look like Kiefer Sutherland's older brother? And, should there be a Hollywood movie made, Tom Hanks in a skullcap, I believe would be a good choice to play Neil because his facial physical features are similar. Casting Getty's role will be more difficult. Hey, I can't do everything around here.
Jamie Farr (Corporal Klinger on M*A*S*H) would have been a great choice for Geddy when he was younger, but I imagine he is probably in his 80s by now, If he is still alive. Maybe Adrien Brody would be a good choice? I’m trying to picture him with a long hair wig on, especially in Geddy’s younger days when his hair was really long, about half way down his back. They would have to have a stand in for the close up shots of his fingers because no one can shred a bass like Geddy!

Any one in Drum and Bugle Corps's prolly love , love, love, the drum solos in here @ 53:30 . Well, every song just about, is a guitar, bass, and drum solo of sorts because "Rush" is a "power trio". They did have a keyboard player that was just out of sight to the stage right of the drums on some tour stops. Very musical drum solo for a drum solo.
Snowdog - Yeah, very nice work on the 3 cam mix! For sure. And a fantastic set to boot (pun intended)! But SUPER LAME on all the ads. Do you even make enough to buy a six pack?? I mean. Why ruin your art!? :-(
What a shame they didn't play at RCMH more. Madison Square Garden and Barclay's Center's acoutics suck! Jones Beach is better, but center statge is a no go.
RUSH fans and supporters need to take off their Blinkers and listen to other Rock bands, they're not wearing their Blinkers properly over their ears. LOL!!!! I know what the replies will be " We don't need to listen to other Bands, we've already found the best " You are so easy to predict and anticipate. So cliched just like RUSH's 'music' RUSH pale into insignificance compared to the superior quality music I'm 'into'. I like my music to be exciting and engaging. It could be a 2 chord PUNK screamer or Mozart or Dead Kennedys or Status Quo or Carole King or The Sex Pistols or any of the thousands of NEW WAVE classic acts. I just love Alex Lifeson's guitarstyle, and he has the best sound of them all. Thank you, RUSH !!!
Note: Alex and Geddy both on Fenders.
Alex also used Gibson (extensively) and PRS at numerous stages of this show alone, guitars chosen for a given sound to serve the song.
@@nickmcp7191 Signature guitars too.
Just amazing to see how the PROFESSOR taught us how to play drums correctly.!!!!!!!

Three of the best ever all on one stage. They should humble all others
Wow! This is an excellent recording & video! Really captures the live sound well!
When I saw this tour. I listened to FEEDBACK for a year after. On shuffle and shuffle
It was such an amazing band, what can we say about Mr Peart!! My God ! how good he was!!!

Magnífico.
The Tele sounds so good on The Trees and Bravado.
Lifeson pulling out guitars I've never seen him with before. Very cool.
Yes, this was the first time I saw him play a Gibson SG.
ATTENTION TO THE AI OVERLORDS (RUclips) PLEASE PLACE YOUR ADDS IN BETWEEN THE SONGS NOT AT THE CLIMAX OF A SONG!!!
actually the one who decide where to put the ad is the youtube user who uploads the vid

The triggered samples are very musical as well and make the drum solo way more than a just a drum solo.
Rush had an out of sight keyboard player? No. Every sound is made or at the very least triggered by a band member.
Gracias. Quizás vengan a Argentina....
Is it just me or does the end of the trees at 5:15 remind anyone of the Beatles song Daytripper?
It is Daytripper and just before that a bit of I Feel Fine, another Beatles song. 🎸
6:25 The who cover, I can't believe
Day tripper (Beatles) at the end of the trees
SEEKER @ 6:45 !!
Your Rush concert uploads are great. Do you have Rush in Rio?
For KISS to even dream about being on the same level as RUSH 🎉 is a joke 😊🎉❤❤❤
Rip Neil
Frankly I think these guys I might have something
it was just me never mind
Marc Kim where are you?
What's up with the clothes dryers behind Getty?
This was a great great great gig. I was sooooo lucky to be at this gig. They’ve always incorporated some bizarre humor… and it’s Geddy , not Getty lol
They really shouldn’t do whites and colors all in one load.
Lots of drum solos sound end up sounding like meaningless, patternless crashing. Neil's solos always sounded like music.
They call me the Beaker🤣😂

The sound is fine... according to me, of course. It's only bootleg ;)
The sound is really good for an audience recording. I know the guy that made the recording. He was very meticulous about quality.
sounds like an a- bootleg - which is fucking awesome in my book
Are you nuts? Deaf? This is one of the best boot's I've ever heard. It's better than the official R30 release.
Michael Ashbrook sounds damn good to me! Especially for a bootleg.
