BOTH🤙 Different applications for Bass require different gear and techniques. Bill dance is the man‼️ Angler most of my life, going through the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Times when we’re frustrated there’s always some knowledge on Saturday morning to use on the next fish’n sesh. Tight Lines Mr Dance. 🎣🔥👍
Great stuff as always. I'm a huge fan of spinning gear. They're my primary rig for finesse fishing. Nothing works better in pressured waters than slowing things down with a Texas rig or wacky rig.
Watching your videos out of every channel I watch makes me wanna fish more than ever and give me more info becoming a better angler. Bill thank you for what u do.
Great help Bill.Yep. different reels for different uses. And you know what? I still use a Zebco. I can do things with that reel I can't do with either a baitcaster of spinning reel. I've been fishing for many years now and am still not confident with either flipping or pitching, but I can do it - badly. Zebco saves the day for me. Someone said, "hey you'll never catch a big bass on that rig." Hmmmm, come watch, says I. Good show Bill. Keep on keeping on. We both had a recent birthday, as I recall.
More wisdom from a true bass fishing legend ! Glad your onboard with such an innovative company like Berkley. Hello from Canada. Take care of yourself Billy ! LOTW
I bent a trolling motor shaft on an offshore rock in Canada, the Humminbird transducer was underneath the motor. managed to bend it back to usable to finish the week at the resort.
I have mainly used a short handled short 5'0" heavy glass medium parabolic action rod with a small, rear-drag spinning reel spooled with heavier 20lb mono line with anything 1/4 ounce or more tied to it.
I've learnd a heck of a lot from ole bill over the years but I hate the way he bends those fish gill back like that. It can't be good for those fish...
I hate spinning reels, never was good at throwing them. So for my light tackle, I still use baitcasters spooled with 6, 8, or 10lbs test on light rods...works quite well
nothing puts a smile on my face like that intro music. Another great episode Bill! Lots of love from Ottawa

Bill it never gets old 👍
Love spinning gear for finesse fishing. Baitcasters are great, but nothing beats a big ol bass on a 6 ft rod with 8 lb test.
Great info Bill and this is something every angler should learn over the years 👍🏼
