- Pokemon Journeys is the newest generation of the Pokemon Anime starring Ash Ketchum. However, despite the many highs, there are also several criticisms of it. Today I bring you the twenty-ninth part in my rewrite of this new series, where I will attempt to fix some of these issues, as well as add in some things I would've liked to have seen in the series so far. Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with "2019", the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Cinderace. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear while Ash is pursing Leon in the Pokemon World Coronation Series (PWC) and Goh is chasing his dream in Project Mew.

That Team Rocket battle ending was amazing written
The trio finally get to make someone else blast off again
The slow burn redemption arc that had been building up for Jessie, James, and Meowth has honestly been my favorite part of this rewrite. Also, it was pretty cool to see them get revenge on Matori and send her blasting off.
And that was the end of Giovanni. Funny, the mafia boss that experimented on Pokémon now reduced to nothing. Just a Pile of dust.
NO SPOILERS
I will not confirm nor deny what has happened to Giovanni. Unless I were to make a continuation to this series, Giovanni's fate will be left unknown

Why Giovanni wasn't immediately disqualified after injuring Alain and why none of the other Masters 8 protested against it?
Because Alain allowed everything to continue. Chairman Rose spoke with Alain off camera in the previous part of this series, and that was what it was about

@@ElectroPikachuIf you are planning to do a "Aim To Be A Pokemon Master Rewrite" you need to see this perfectly wasted plot for "Aim To Be A Pokemon Master:"
At its core, Aim To Be A Pokémon had everything it needed to be the ultimate send-off to Ash as the lead protagonist: Brock and Misty would rejoin him on his travels, he would start bringing back all of his old Pokémon after years of them sitting at Oak's Lab, and he would go about seeing the world fresh off his victory against Leon and becoming World Monarch. However, none of this farewell was followed up in a way that satisfied fans; much of the show dedicated itself to being a throwback to The Original Series by mostly being Filler episodes designed to tonally and spiritually homage the first few seasons and little else. By the end of it, Ash only got to reunite with Squirtle and Lapras while only adding Pidgeot back to his team and no one else (not even Primeape, who hadn't been seen outside of flashbacks for 25 years), many of said Pokémon who did come back got little to do aside from being involved in the plot of the various episodes, Ash never got to reunite with any of his other companions besides Cilan and Tracey, any potential follow through of him and Misty or Serena taking up a relationship that was previously teased never happened, and even the split-up of Team Rocket was undone within a few episodes, leaving them to continue following him until the end of time rather than Ash finally defeating Giovanni and disbanding the group for good. Worst yet, the series ends with Ash not becoming a Pokémon Master like the title implied, let alone rarely being acknowledged as the World Monarch, leaving things far too open ended for what was supposed to be his farewell. While it's likely that there are plans for Ash's story to continue-either as a movienote or to have him guest star on Pokémon Horizons: The Series-the end result left fans disappointed that, unlike other "farewells" such as Star Trek: Picard Season 3 or Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, he wasn't given proper closure.
*Team Rocket in particular is a major sticking note. In Episode 9, they get into a major fight and break up, left working a menial cafeteria job that's taking a toll on them. You would think after so long, this would be the tipping point that convinces them, "Hey, it's not worth stealing Pikachu when all it's done is make you so miserable", right? Nope! They get back together again two episodes later, deciding it's worth trying to take Pikachu even if they never succeed. Naturally, fans weren't happy that the infamous trio never learned their lesson that Being Evil Sucks, and would rather waste their lives in this endless game of chase than truly accomplish something meaningful.
You've already said this word for word, and just copy and paste it here doesn't really achieve anything. Especially since you're talking about how Team Rocket needed to be taken care of in Aim To Be A Pokémon Master, when I've already ended that primary storyline

Funny comment just because Galarian Darmanitan is ranked at the bottom that doesn’t mean I dislike him all of your first of Ash’s Journeys Team very strong i’ll have great character development doesn’t permit over the real Team someone has to be rent in the bottom to make things fair in all of your versions Ash’s Journeys Teams are awesome just find others that make things even more impactful but Darmanitan is still great Don’t get me wrong.

I'm assuming Mewtwo does count as one of Ash's Pokemon in this what if without being caught similar to Solgaleo.
Will it be the same as the last part and will there be any changes to it like added animation and more voice dub?
A little bit of voice work, but no custom animation. I didn't want there to be nearly as much of a gap between parts as last time. So while a lot of work was put into this part still, there won't be any custom animation for it

I want Silver in Pokemon Journeys Rewrite as an Interpol, like Looker, and he is Looker's apprentice. Also, Looker and Silver's relationship is similar to Johnny Lawrence and Miguel Diaz from Cobra Kai. Also, during Silver's time as an apprentice of Looker, he develops a father-son relationship with him and Looker is an positive influence to Silver, to the point Silver sees Looker an surrogate father. Not to mention, Looker acted like a real parent to Silver and teaching what is right.
To be honest, Silver is already being mentored by Looker in GSA. If I were to bring his character in, I wouldn't want to do something different and more unique to the Journeys Rewrite

You give Goh not just Urshifu and Externatus, but you cannot give Ash Mewtwo???! You kidding me dude?! Your story was good and all but come on! You can give the main character a couple of Legendaries.
Just because Mewtwo wasn't caught, doesn't mean Mewtwo isn't considered Ash's Pokémon
