@@ShadowBLXi don't think that's how it works, may be because you need to battle elite four also to become official championsh of a particular region. not saying that ash is not the same caliber of steven, iris or Cynthia infact now he's much stronger than them. but i guess he's not officially the championship of unova, hoenn and sinnoh since he needs to take part in offcial league once again and beat elite four along with respective champion.

@@ShadowBLX I mean beating elite four to become a league champion is never considered in the anime for some reason 🤷. Like alain became kalos league champion but didn't beat full 6v6 elite four battles. Same goes for ash too (feels like in anime it's more of a side quest to defeat elite four, so I guess it's optional to battle them even if you are champion of the league) or hey may be being a regional champion and league champion is different???🤔.

How it missed the gimmicks and the use of greninja the actual battle in the anime was better

That was an amazing battle between Ash and Leon as both gave it their all and Ash manages to pull off an incredible comeback at the end. But now that Ash’s journey in Galar is complete, it’s time for him, Hop and Gloria to go their separate ways but I know they’ll see each other again someday. Looking forward to the final episode.
I'm honestly surprised Dawn, along with her mother at home, wasn't shown watching the exact moment Pikachu did the iconic spin dodge on TV.
Dawn was seen watching the Galar League In a Previous part with Serena so she didn’t have to be shown again.

While it was sad seeing the Underrated Unovan ace go down first,
The fact it took a mythical with a type advantage who was basically Leon’s second ace make it ok, phenomenal writing, allowing all of ash’s beloved partners to have a little bit of spotlight without making the, feel weak
Okay I’m gonna be honest. This series was amazing & I enjoyed most of it’s big moments. This is one of the best Pokémon Fan Projects I’ve ever seen. You outta pay yourself on the back, because MAN YOU COOKED & MADE A GREAT ANIME FAN SERIES.
Amazing finale! It was surprising to see Ash with a dominant lead for a majority of the match for the first time since Orange Islands. Looking forward to the full compilation, and how it ends.

This was even better then the battle from journeys bro in terms of pacing and execution! I love how each ace was handled in the battle and especially that battle between both Charizards. I like how they were both pretty evenly matched and it makes me wonder what would have happened if Leon didn't command ancient power. Either way great finale to an amazing series my man! You're my favourite poketuber

I loved this whole series idea overall, but this ending battle was the icing on the cake. I love that Ash used aces from previous arcs (minus Greninja but we all know why sadly). All in all, well done Zac and thank you for a fun take on Galar!

The Leon Aegislash and Dragapult double distraction losses were a bit much even if in-character for the species
In parallel to Journeys, I like to note that when Ash battled Leon, even all of his Ace Pokemon got hit by super-effective moves. Iron tail for Lycanroc, Sacred Sword and Power Whip for Krookodile, Thunderbolt and Ancient Power for Charzard, Toxic and Acrobatics for Sceptile, and Acrobatics for Urshifu, in comparison to Scorching Sands for Pikachu, Dark Pulse and Expanding Force for Gengar, Expanding Force and Acrobatics for Sirfetched, Flamethrower for Lucario, and Dragon Darts and Dragon Tail for Dracovish and Dragonite. Both were very intense battles.
We gotta get a win rate for Ash' Galar Team in this sword and shield anime
That was. Wow. Zac never disappoints. The only complaint is I wish the moment where all of ashs pokemon surrounds Pikachu but since there already all there I feel like it wasn't needed. Phenomenal episode and would be the best episode in Pokemon history

This was SPECTACULAR times 10000000000000000000000! This whole battle had me at the edge of my seat! This had the a better finale than aim to be mid! The charizard battle was intense! Pikachu v charizard was beyond epic! I’m psyched for the finale! Please do a scarlet and violet anime next. I’ve enjoyed this series more than journeys, and it’s sad that it’s almost ending. Now that the series is over, where would you place ash's pokemon team from your sword and shiel anime in your ash pokemon tierlist, and his companions and rivals?
So, I've watched this video six times since it got posted (I usually do that for all Zac's rewrite videos because they are that darn good) and it wasn't until just now that I realized that Ash's team against Leon was comprised of his aces from various regions:
Pikachu - His partner since the beginning
Charizard - Kanto/Orange Island (kinda sorta) & Johto (when it would help in a major match)
Sceptile - Hoenn
Krookodile - Unova
Lycanroc- Alola
Urshifu -Galar
I'm sure we ALL wanted Greninja to appear! However, there is still one more video left for Zac to close out this series. Maybe our favorite ninja frog will reappear...
The long-awaited battle. I have a strong feeling this will rival if not exceed the original one from the anime 😊
Follow-up to my comment: the fight was just as awesome if not moreso than the OG one! Really love how you traded one overpowered Grass-type monkey for another with Zarude and how it was as much as a menace as Rillaboom. Well played 😁
This amazing episode nearly a perfect ten out of ten, 9.9 out of 10, to be specific. The only reason for the missing 0.1 is because Gary didn't freaking have Terrastlization to show towards Ash & Pikachu. 😜
This was by far one of the greatest battles I have ever seen I have my own version planned in the future and it's gonna take things to a whole other level

That was a truly wonderful final episode. Every story beat was great. Leon's team was awesome. All of Ash's Pokémon were amazing, especially his Charizard, who was evenly matched with Leon's Charizard. Had that omniboost not happened, Ash's Charizard could have won. But hey, that tense standoff between Pikachu and Charizard was epic, with the culmination of the battle being absolutely amazing!
Amazing! Loved all the cameos and the charizard V charizard clash! Loved Gary’s reunion and setting up a potential Paldea adventure. However I am kind of sad that Ash’s Galar team didn’t fight Leon however this was absolutely incredible. Infernape would’ve incinerated Zarude with blaze lol

It's so cool that Ash used his dusk form lycanroc in this fantasy video of him using it in his battle against Leon. I didn't mind Pokemon journeys but it was rushed only because the developers didn't get enough sleep properly or maybe the writing was lazy.
Would’ve liked to see Greninja return for the last battle but hey to me this was still better than anything journeys came up with. Loving the series Zac!
